I think it's just factory problems - production schedules. Am still sulking about the delays on Loki, Bucky, Shuri - I mean HT is crossing into 2-year wait periods since a movie release (I know Loki is shipping but Ragnarok had long been released...).

Sort of takes the edge off and/or u start to forget about a fig. Like I think about IW War Machine and it's like a 2-year wait. IMO it's more of an advantage to release a fig sooner than later re movie hype. Otherwise u get time to re-think things re buying. Why even bother POing u'll be waiting anyway.

Where are you ordering from ? Sounds like they are last in line. I got Loki ages ago.

It is "strange" though. I would have thought they would be getting these figures out before Endgame so people can't cancel their orders for the Endgame version.

Looking at it a different way. Maybe it means characters like Doctor Strange won't have a different look and they want to maximize sales of this figure closer/during the Endgame release ??

I don't read spoilers or anything, but Strange was snapped. I don't expect him to play a huge role in End Game.

I wanted to share with you this little project I did recently with Dr Strange. I wanted to be able to really get the Titan atmosphere for this figure and I specially want to have him posed in the "Images of Ikonn" spell pose. So I began this by customizing the stand. I picked one of my spare sideshow's star wars old stands and I checked it could work for my purpose. I tested the height for a flying pose and I had to twist the waist clamp to transform it into a crotch Hot toy's style one.

Here a pic of the pose with the sideshow's stand:

Now it is time to begin with the creation of the rocky floor Strange was standing on when fighting Thanos.

1- It looks kind of dull and shapeless...

2- Now it is beginning to look better!

3- More stones!!

4- Covering the stand with an uneven surfface to mimic that rocky soil from Titan.

5-Looking better:

6- Covering it with plaster:

7- Painting it with the base stone color:

8- Finally, adding the effects. Here for the light reflection on the rock I went for an orangish/redish color to resemble that of Titan. The camera of my phone doesn't quite well capture the shade of the color very well. It is a bit different when you see it in person.

And this is the final result of the stand with the figure.

I am really happy since it is the first time I do a custom stand and I am satisfied with the result. Now I need a backdrop of Titan which I will make later. Next step: The 14 extra arms for this pose.

I will paint the fabric on trying to replicate the pattern of it. The real one is made in such a way, but obviously by a printer. I will do it by hand. I will try to figure out some paterns with paper to make it consitent throughout. It should work just fine.

Firstly it is a personal project. But I am open to reproduce them for selling just in case anyone is interested. Everything is hand crafted. I mean, I don't use a sewing machine to make the sleeves, for example. Just hand-sewing. I will have the backdrop ready in the coming days. I will keep you all posted.

I can't understand what must be happening in the transporting/logistics part, but it makes no sense how they are managing the supply of this figure. Now HT being focused on Thanos and Iron man, I have my doubts about when they will be shipping this one.

It is odd for sure. I’m lucky to have gotten one in the first batch, but by now I’d expect the rest to have shipped. Makes me wonder how long IW Thanos & BP will take too since they had been pushed up to early release then pushed back
