The Spidey was the only faux-bronze that I really wanted (possily the Wolverine as well). I finally broke down and bought him off ebay last weekend. All the photos I've seen of the statue look great. I think there are quite a few posted at statueforum.

Same thing happened to me. Meh, I'll buy them later if I still want them I guess. I'm sure there will be plenty to choose from on ebay, at insanely inflated prices. I expect a ton of these were bought to resell. Oh well.

Congrats, Gruson. Hope you enjoy it. The Bowen Fett sure is nice, but the new photos of the Sideshow version look pretty sweet. I think at the price, the Sideshow is a no-brainer if you want a bronze Fett. Twice the size and a quarter of the price! Not to mention a lot less hunting.

If I ever paid that much for a book, I don't think I could bring myself to break the spine and turn the pages. Of course, then there would be no point of buying the book in the first place. So I obviously will not be exchanging a kidney for this. Good idea.
