This was the first game I ever had where I just enjoyed riding around and seeing all that beautiful scenery and listening to that soundtrack. Didn't care about the game play or levelling up or story progression - just loved the world they put together.
That being said, if they do make this I hope we also get a zombie game add on. The Undead expansion was so much fun.

The timeline of US history is so bizarre to me. It's weird to me that the Civil War was AFTER the Gold Rush, and the cowboy era was AFTER the Civil War. In my head, the cowboy era was before all of that. Cowboys just seem ancient to me. And I'm not that young.

Well, most of the hype was centered around Sony's conference, which bore little fruit. However there are rumours Rockstar pulled the trailer because of a scene in it reminicent of the Orlando shooting (Outlaw shooting up a saloon) which could mean we might see an edited version of a trailer soon, or maybe not... You never know with Rockstar.

Was it confirmed they were showing it though this year or that they were even making it ? From what I have read it was a toss up between then announcing either RD 2 or Bully 2.
