He definitely used to. Sideshow has greatly improved shipping from Hottoys release times with how soon they get them in.

I would guess now you will either get a little sooner from Kit or around the same time depending on the release and how quickly it gets in Sideshow hands.
Do you get your HT shipped from Kit the same time as HK sellers like TBA ship out there stuff?

Yes we get it, you're the only one who can see how bad the sculpt really is and the rest of us are morons. 😄
I think so, it's a lot of this when a long anticipated figure is released, it's just given a pass.
Qui Gon, Maul, all have really missed the mark when compared to the best SW sculpts, but somehow people just cannot see it. Maybe too excited to really look at what they are getting.

This is no Asoka or Emperor, or even a Luke level sculpt.

It's lazy and weird, and to see fans already talking about tweaks that will never happen from HT, just saddens me because HT will continue to pump out inferior sculpts and raise prices.

Serious question: Do you own Qui-Gon? I don't own the HT Maul but do own the Qui-Gon and literally just walked over to my Detolf to take a double look at him. That's a pretty excellent representation of the character if you ask me.

This sculpt isn't inferior.

Look at the photo Cocoboloboy posted several pages back. Without exception to the wrinkles, the face is an exact match for Ford. It's the hair that's the problem, and who knows, they may tweak it. They've done it before.

Even if they don't tweak it, I don't care. I missed out of the ANH Han Solo figures. I didn't want the TFA Han Solo figure. I'd rather have a Han Solo figure on my shelf with bad hair than no Han Solo figure at all. Same thing with Qui-Gon. He's my second favorite Jedi in Star Wars. That likeness isn't perfect, but anyone who looks at my collection knows instantly that it's Qui-Gon. And I'd rather have that than no figure at all.

If you don't like it, that's fine, but acting like there's something wrong with this figure and people are just overlooking it is ridiculous. You don't have to like it. You also don't have to be mad that the majority of people do like it.

The Qui Gon sculpt is terrible, but main because the hair (once again) it's the same reason the Obi sculpt looks terrible. Facial hair is just beyond HTs ability.

As far as Maul, the face was ok, but the screaming sculpt was idiotic looking.

HT can do better and we should be pushing them for better. Not all the beared or facial hair sculpts are bad , but many are.

HT is gonna have a time with Inart and their ability to do facial hair (and hair in general) especially if we continue to see hair like this mess....

It's just lazy sculpting. The fact that they showed this sculpt with that hair shows how little they care about the SW license, mainly cause they know they have a fan base that buys it up without asking for better products.

They will not tweak the hair. They wouldn't even get rid of the widows peak on the Kate bishop figure. If you can find one they have changed please let me know. Maybe color but not actual sculpt could change.

The forehead wrinkles will soften as all of the hard lines on face sculpted do.

Yup, looks great in the video. Man, I love Han in ANH but given the looks between the two are so similar once you remove the coat, I may just sell that one and buy this one to be my only Han. Good thing there's a little time to decide

Head sculpt looks fantastic in this video.

Honestly after watching that I hope they don't change a damn thing with the sculpt. It looks flippin phenomenal. And the hair and expression work perfectly fine too.

Only thing that needs improving are those weird wrinkly hands.

H.Ford likeness is really strong in that shot. I still believe they should tweak the hair a bit though.

This is interesting:

Accessories:
- One (1) communicator (attachable to belt)
- One (1) bushes diorama accessory
- Specially designed figure stand with Star Wars logo and character nameplate

The diorama is listed separately to the stand. I was wondering earlier if the stand could be taken apart to remove it, but it's worded as though it's going to be a separate piece that drops into the base.

Still needs a bit of thinking about how to incorporate the diorama with a shorter stand to bring all the characters into line.
