The sizing actually came out better than I thought. Doesn’t look 24” tall there but maybe the spikes on his head pushed it higher than they thought on the prototypes spec.

Replace the oversized chainmail and you have a pretty solid Sauron for display here. Will wait for more photos before paying him off but he looks great so far in that photo alone.

The scene when houses his mace during the opening prologue was epic. With surround sounds that entire scene booms.

The size of Saueon was a great decision in the movie showing how he towered.

This figure looks darn good. Hope it ships soon.

Just watched the video and he's still slightly too big imo but looks better in that group shot since Gandalf is on a stand with his hat on. The figure itself still looks great though, outside of the bad chainmail.

Could it not just be the camera lense and perspective? I cant see them making any drastic changes to the moulds after the proto, we aren’t talking Hot Toys or a licensed figure…🤔

I paid, please be good, please be good, please be good.....

Looks fine to me, their poses suck though, but they show the size. Chainmail no idea. I need to rewatch the scene....but I see the hip joints move outward nicely.

I am very curious about the wrist joints. I see the Elbows and Knees somewhat, but hope the wrist articulates.

I hope the joints are tight. A near 2 foot figure, they will get loose. I compare it to NECA's 18 and they almost all have a looseness after a while. Hoping the quality is good enough.

I think it looks spectacular in the proto and final version minus the poor poses....but please be good, please be good...it definately passes the eye test as it LOOKS good...darn good.

Looks decent, not perfect of course, Id say this is a good option for those who really want a Sauron but dont have the Sideshow statues and dont mind it being a little bit off.

I'm sure there's an optimum pose for this thing that will make him look great. Maybe hunched, reaching out to snatch you with that terrible ringed hand...

Standing tall with his arm up like ESB Vader is not the optimum pose for this guy IMO.

Just waiting for more reviews...to see how this guy looks under different lights and more poses and more vids.

Hoping it ships to USA soon.

Didn't know Sauron had a snatched waist.
That proto looks a lot better. Wider middle.
Likely the same size (waist)torso, just with the legs posed open the thigh guards are wider spread, making the torso look thiner.

That proto looks a lot better.....Shoulder spikes angled better. Anyway...

This shows how good this figure is, at least compared to the proto. It's still far from being perfect and I find the lack of detail in some areas definitely lazy but at least the proportions aren't that bad. For the price it costs it's quite good these days.
