Am I just picky? Something is still off about the mask

Looks great!

Finally THE Spider-Man!!!! Fantastic start to the new year.

Still not crazy about that neck seam, but looks pretty good otherwise.

The disfigured seam on the forehead for the mask is one of the worst I’ve seen. What the hell happened!?

Man I hate that ******* neck seam. It looks awful on any Spidey with it. I'd much rather sacrifice the unmasked collar in favor of a nice shoulder to neck suit transition. It just looks amateur.

Yeah the seams suck but not anything we didn't know about since proto. One of the main reasons I prefer their VG spideys with the sculpted mask and seamless collar. Only time the fabric mask looks good is on their 1/4th.

The lens also looks weird now. Makes the whole mask look off. Disappointing honestly. Will wait to see more in hand pictures besides these blogger photos.

The Tobey headsculpt looks decent. But the mask on the other hand... what the hell happened? So it seems for some reason they moved the lenses further up the head closer to the upper webbing lines on the front of the mask, while the prototype had them closer to the bottom. This change is also inaccurate to both films so I have no idea why they'd make this change lol.

Agreed. Really doesn’t look good and not much of an improvement over the original.

From all the blogger photos I’ve seen so far, the mask looks off at every angle.

Something about the head shape just does not look natural or accurate. Same as the original.

Is this actually Hot Toys? It looks like a bootleg.

Was always planning to display with the Tobey head so the mask isn't a deal breaker...but still a bit disappointing.

Been out of the loop a little while but TBA seem to have hiked their prices...is that normal or just because it's a new release that's now waitlisted at SS?

And this is probably what we’re gonna get with the Black Suit too…

This looks HORRIBLE, the prototype actually looked decent but this is such a downgrade it's unacceptable, the shape of the mask is all weird, lenses suck ass, 0 resemblance to the prototype. The Tobey sculpt has a literal dead stare same as the Damtoys RE2 Leon, how are people okay with this? At first I saw the blogger photos before going to bed and I hoped in hand would look better but this is not it.

Lens look a tad high not a deal breaker for me everything else looks great.
