It doesn't look like though due to the paint applications, they've painted in such a way that it looks straight out of animation, especially all of the weathering.

Could have benefited from actually having the weathering sculpted into the armour itself. It just looks flat otherwise.
The paint applications are subjective. The Coruscant guards dont have sculpted weathering but we understand that those are realistic.

(I also meant "thigh" in my previous post. It was a type that I wrote "high")

Maybe problem is we’ve never seen any of this armour in live action, I just don’t think it translates particularly well.

My main problem with these Bad Batch figures is that HT didn't put in enough effort trying to make the armour look realistic, the armour looks almost straight out of the show yet the headsculpts are realistic. It's a weird contrast.
This is a fair criticism imo. When I opened Echo and Hunter I thought the same but mainly b/c of the torso armor. That said, I’m all in. DOPO city. SS already snatched my NRD

I'd be interested to see your list - maybe a lot of people would so maybe just post it?
Cool thanks for the input :hi5: I honestly had no idea what it was about, so you mentioning getting "to see the Rise of the Empire/Dark Times era developed more" is enough to make me want to watch it.

Since @yodasan asked. Episode guide; just my opinion.

I'd say it doesn't hurt to watch most of the series except for maybe just the filler and be prepared for some of the weaker episodes. I think it's a great series overall that suffers from odd pacing at times and stretched out seasons.

Even if you don't care for Clone Force 99 going in, they do a good job adding more depth to the characters. They toned them down a bit and made them a lot more likable than they were in TCW S7.

A - Must Watch - Generally strong episodes that add a lot to the Dark Times era and/or pick up on plot threads and characters from The Clone Wars.

B - Should Watch - Not every episode is amazing but most are solid. These contain important story beats mostly contained to Clone Force 99. Though some have fairly standalone TCW cameos.

C - Could Watch - Episodes that feel like filler but contain some important plot points or character development. Maybe watch but be prepared to fast forward.

F - Filler - Primarily filler; won't really miss much for skipping.

Solid list and recommendations MyenShi, and the grading per Epi is especially helpful. Thanks for sharing.

I like the series overall for its attempt to spell out the events post Order 66, and the transition of power from the Republic to the Empire.

"The Batch finds themselves walking the line between survival and facing the call to do something more to take a stand against the rising Imperial tyranny."

I hope it continues to improve as a series with less fill.

Looking forward to having whole team in the collection. Wait continues.

That pose for Tech sure lacks imagination. Really? Waving guns around like he's landing a plane? All that gear he's got and he couldn't be showcased doing something with it? Weird.

Where do those guns go in his suit. There's an empty holster on the left of his belt, but couldn't find a second place.

Honestly their pistols often just materialize out of thin air when the plot requires it.

Before the S2 outfit change, Hunter even sometimes has a holster and sometimes doesn’t.

He should have a spanner in one hand, really. Also needs an armband holo display or a datapad.

I’m going to display him like this, for real.

Oh man! I've been noticing that stuff for a while.

😂True story, watch S1E1 Aftermath. After they leave Saw and are returning to the Marauder, Hunter turns to speak to Crosshair and spots a probe droid spying on them.

@ 49:02 Hunter draws his blaster, and I kid you not, for a split second you can see the pistol is literally stuck onto his right hip with nothing. No holster, it's just there out in the open.

In fact, Hunter during this whole sequence is seen with his pistol, but never a holster. So yeah, strange directorial decisions at work.

I remember Karen Traviss made repeated mentions of how clone backpacks were so heavy that the wearer had to struggle not to fall over backwards.
