That pic is just using overhead light in the room. Here is a pic using flash. I think the flash makes them look even less different. Definitely a subtle variant.

Here's my brown and gray dog alien side by side. I can definitely tell the difference between them. My brown dog from the previous series also has a purple tint to its head dome which seems to be remedied in the gray dog.

I really don't understand why we're not getting a bambi-burster/dog burster in this set instead of a queen burster who never appeared that big. The size would have been much more appropriate for the bambi-burster, who actually did appear in the film.

Alien 3 Ripley is part of the same series. I think the lineup will be the Commando, Ripley, the Bambi burster and Queen facehugger together, and the dog alien with a new paint job.

Picked up a couple sets of the upper and lower prison cells at Target. I decided to get them built now since I have 2 of the catwalk sets with 2 more pairs of cells preordered. Now I just have to find room for it all.

Pretty sure we'll at least get the resurrection xenomorph since they're already making the AVP xenos and they're the same costume as resurrection, except resurrection used digitigrade legs (which I think looked way cooler). I really hope we get a resurrection Ripley and Newborn, but I'm picking...

Maybe I'm just seeing things, but looking at that Ripley up close, it almost seems like they used the same technique as Predator Dutch and the Rocky and Rambo figs where they used the correct color plastic as the skin tone rather than paint the skin on. If so, that's pretty cool. I always liked...

Don't forget to flip the feet! They all shipped with her feet joints twisted upside down. The toes are orientated correctly, but the joint above it is backwards. See pic:
