The recent Alien Warrior had a rubber body like the old Big Chap figure, so I don't think they'd make the wished improvements in that department.
it's not entirely true. the material of that rubber suit is a great improvement over the first one.
don't get me wrong, i completely agree that alien design is made for joints plus i love joints and hate rubber bodies on my figures (with an exception of terminator arrival).

I have to say after seeing the movie I am really looking forward to this Fugitive predator now. I just hope some improvements are made to the mask in terms of sharper detail and better elbow joints. Though I am pretty sure that was slapped together quickly for something to show at SDCC.

The real frenzy would be to have the upgrade predator but I know there is no way in Hell we'll get that.

Is it same to assume that with no announcement weeks after the release of the movie that we're not getting this guy?

I don't think it would be safe to assume that. It's a Predator, they've made a prototype. I think it would be a first for Predator if they didn't end up releasing it after showing something off, someone correct me if I'm wrong.

But yeah, foolish of them not to have at least the preorder ready for the release of the film. They don't help matters.

:exactly:

It is possible they might still pull the plug on this though after seeing the abysmal box office numbers and figuring interest in this figure would be extremely low. Heck, Star Wars is undoubtedly their bread and butter franchise, and after seeing how unpopular TLJ was among fans, didn’t release probably 50% of characters they probably otherwise would have made.

But I err more on the side that they’ll eventually put this up for PO, and then eventually release it.

I never have an interest in any of the human characters myself in any of the Pred films; I just collect Predators.

For being an early figure (even earlier than the original JH), she is very well done and holds up well with later figures. Her sculpt is excellent, as well as the small details in the figure itself. Though now days, they’d probably use a seamless body for her.

The thighs aren’t really a big deal to me. The arm joints though can easily be concealed with her Xenomorph skull shield and her dreads, if you have them cover the arm.

not even dutch? I do have dutch and noland. Noland only because of his predator gear he wore. But dutch because well he was by far the coolest human character we've had in a predator film

Not even. :lol

But if I were to get a human character from any of the films, it’d definitely be Dutch. Or Royce.

The Royce figure was great. I forget I used to have him. Weird that they made any human characters from Predators now that I think back. Just can't imagine it now when people are even doubting whether they'll release an actual Predator.
