Really nice pictures in here everyone! Here’s a little diorama I tested out for him. The bases and treasure chest are from the NECA 7” Curse of the Black Pearl figures. Completely different scale but it works fine enough for me.

Thanks Jim! I actually had those from years back. Each piece of the diorama came with a different figure. I can’t remember what piece came with what figure though. But I believe the Aztec chest and the two sections with the tall rocks sticking up came in a set with Skeleton Barbossa and Jack.

I keep seeing word of a second shipment, is this actually confirmed? What's the chance of this going back to preorder or in stock status soon?
I have a preorder with SS and still no word on when it will be shipping, so I would say for sure there is a second shipment coming. Glad really since it will be the v2 with the better hat.

Agree! Tho I always thought Cannibal King Jack was pretty good. I need to futz with my other Jacks now. Finally got a chance to look this guy over in detail and he's just mindboggling. the tiny details on the hands and weapons, looks like coat buttons are stitched on, flawless hands, to-scale wrist wraps, great base - HT hit it way out of the park.
Not a complaint but did notice that lint or pet hair WILL stick to the coat. I've got other figs like that. Just something to be aware of.

Raveneye seems pretty confident he can make it as long as he has proper measurements which is why I'm sending him my spare parts when I have them. I've never seen any of Mr. E's stuff but Raveneye's Uncharted pieces as well as his Jon Snow belt are pretty impressive not to mention he made a leather hat for a Westworld figure I believe as well.
And while we're on the subject of custom items, does anyone know who could make a real fabric bandana? I tried whitekite but he lost the file he had for the DX06 and I don't believe he's too interested in making a new one.

I’ve had this guy for a few weeks now and while I agree with everyone it’s a spectacular piece I have been bothered by one little niggle- the serious sculpts nose is just too pointy and big. Depps nose is very distinct and on the smaller scale in proportion to his overall face. This is why I prefer the smiling sculpt.

If they can correct the droopy look, then it might be possible to overlook the fact that it’s about ten to fifteen percent bigger than it should be.
Hat looks much better. Any chance you could post a picture of the back side of your Jack? I'm curious to see how you've folded his coat to get it open like you have at the front.
I actually didn't fold the coat. just some slight futzing. It all kind of fell into place once I undressed him and redressed him. the back is smooth, with no bunching up.

yea I haven't heard anything about the hat and considering the hat looks just like the proto I doubt they'll change it.
