This year I've bought one figure (Drax) and I got a code. So it's probably not based on this year's spend :lol My guess is it's active customers, and most people will end up getting one.

its most likely a random selection of a certain percentage of customers.

Its random because I spent less than $100 with them total in the last year. Unless its to entice me to spend.

I received my promo in the mail yesterday but mine in missing a code - I guess Sideshow will be hearing from me tomorrow

Why? They are not beholden to give you the code. If you didn't get it maybe you didn't meet a certain requirement. Contacting them asking where it is seems unreasonable.

Lol... It says here's $50 with NO code. At this point he should get a code.

You probably misread this. If you received a $50 promo in the mail that had a printing error that caused the code to not get printed, it's completely fine to ask for a code.

Yeah I did misread it. I've seen other collectors post "it's BS that some got it and I didn't etc etc whine whine" and that nonsense rubs me the wrong way.

My wife has an account (she surprised me with a couple figures) and she got a card in the mail. No mention of a code, $50 off, etc.

I think it's within people's rights as customers to be upset when SS treats some people better than others for seemingly no reason. Not only that, but this is a company that has a history of strange and unfair "gifts" ($5,$10,$15 points giveaway). Of course SS doesn't have to do any of this, but why not just be fair to everyone instead of pissing off your customers. Again, SS is not even transparent in giving a criteria for sending out these codes, so it's not like anyone can try and understand why they wouldn't get one.

Not within a customer's rights whatsoever. The customer has a right to polite service and the products they purchase- nothing more.

The customer has a right to feel upset when they feel they have been treated unfairly. Hell, it's a person's right to feel upset when they have been treated unfairly. Again, if SS was transparent with the criteria, I think a lot less people would be upset.

Can you show me where they have "the right" in Sideshow's policies?

It's called human rights, anyone can feel any way they want to about any thing, for any reason. It's unfair of Sideshow to send to some people and not others. People can feel it is unfair, and feel upset. This is pretty basic.
You, seemingly think that you can tell people how they should and shouldn't feel. You're obviously the authority here. Ignored.
