Honestly some patience is in order. Some only just arrived on Saturday, not sure how it's automatically guaranteed that anyone who didn't get one doesn't have one that's just on the way. This type of back and forth seems a bit premature.

It's called human rights, anyone can feel any way they want to about any thing, for any reason. It's unfair of Sideshow to send to some people and not others. People can feel it is unfair, and feel upset. This is pretty basic.
You, seemingly think that you can tell people how they should and shouldn't feel. You're obviously the authority here. Ignored.

You have a lot to learn about human's rights. A discount for toys is in no way shape or form remotely close to anything like true human's rights. Ridiculous.

I've been to third world countries that are maimed for disagreeing with those in power or not holding a certain religion. That is human rights, not a toy discount.

Lol, pretty sure the Constitution says something about Sideshow being obligated to give everyone discounts

Exactly. It is the Absurd clause.

"Entitled goofs think they should get big discounts on toys because someone else did."

His logic with "unfair" is ridiculous. I mean, c'mon... that logic can be "Collector 1 can afford Hulkbuster and I can't so that isn't fair."

That is some socialism bunk.

Quite the leap in logic there.

Hows that? He is being irrational saying that it is unfair someone got something others didn't. The logic is extended to anything, really.

That kid got two scoops of vanilla and I got one- unfair.
That kid got a new skateboard and I did not- unfair.
That guy got the job and I didn't- unfair.
That woman got a promotion and I didn't- unfair.

Saying something is unfair because someone got it and you didn't without any evidence of bias is illogical.

All I'm trying to say is people are allowed to feel upset. I never said Sideshow HAS to give everyone a discount, obviously they can do whatever they want. I'm just saying, when someone gets a discount, another customer is allowed to want the same discount. Sideshow doesn't HAVE to give it, but the customer is allowed to feel however they want to when they don't get it, especially when no reason has been given that they didn't get it.
I'm saying it's absurd to say people can't be upset when they feel something is unfair. Where this whole conversation has gone off track is the conversation about "rights". I guess I shouldn't have said the customer is within their rights to feel upset when they feel they have been treated unfairly.

Has anyone gotten a new June code yet? Not asking for one but wondering if they have them this month since they did the 50.00 coupons. I have Drax shipping next week and am hoping for a code.

I still strongly disagree with parts of this, but this is better.

But you're still wrong. You say you shouldn't have used the term "rights" then progressed into "human rights" so you actually did intend it to be "rights."

Part of socialism is "so-and-so has this and I don't so that is unfair."

It is about redistribution and that is the true "unfair" aspect.

Three people get in a room and one is Bill Gates. Two of those people vote to take all of Gates' wealth and give it to others that didn't innovate/succeed/risk. Gates has no say in the matter. Absurd.

People have a right to be upset they didn't get a code. Sideshow has the right to send codes to whoever they want. I'd probably be a little bummed if I didn't get one but I know that's the way it is so whatever.

Speaking of fair, a $50 would cover shipping for me :lol

#theharshrealityofinternationalcollecting :lol

Until we know what the criteria to get a code is then it isn't rational to get mad- upset? Yes. Mad? No.

Not saying you're mad, but just a general comment. I've seen a lot of silly reactions to this- if I didn't get a code I'd just think "well... bummer."

We don't have to agree. "Within their rights to feel that way" is a regularly used term when it comes to any kind of action or thought. And of course, human rights is correct. Everyone has the basic right of freedom of thought. They can feel any way they want to about this situation whether you deem it a correct or incorrect feeling. You can't tell anyone how to feel. And like I said, if they feel Sideshow has treated them unfairly here, they are allowed to feel any way they want to about it.

This makes me feel like we agree. I think you think I said Sideshow has to give out codes to everyone as some sort of fair treatment right. I never said anything like that. Sideshow can do whatever they want, obviously, and will continue to do so. And we don't know what the criteria is, which is why I said they should just be transparent about it. "You spent X amount of dollars within X amount of time, you get this code." Or something like that, I think people would be more understanding. Since they have been silent, and no international collectors have said they have gotten the code, we can only say at this point, it's possibly for US customers only, and it is randomized. Which then brings up conversations such as "I feel like I spent a lot of money and have been a good customer to Sideshow, why would I not get one?" Then feel this is unfair.

I got one so I am ok, but I have missed things like this in the past and like you I get "bummed" and it ends there but if somebody really wants to go off that's their right too.

I didn't think I was gonna get a code, but I did on Saturday. It might be for all active members that have made any purchase within the last year.

People got the envelopes every day of the week so they're sending these out in waves.

But contacting SS to "go off" about their "right" is going to make it to where they just scrap the program.

That wouldn't work out either though, because then collector's would think that every time they spent X amount, they'd get a $50 code.

OR

There would be folks who are mad b/c they would've spent X amount through sideshow had they known that it meant getting a $50 promo code. Or any other kind of scenario.

I didn't think I was getting one and I was fine with that b/c I only order through SS for exclusives. If I never got one, like other's have mentioned, I would've just said to myself "oh well, that sucks" then moved on. To my surprise, I got one on Saturday, so maybe SS is just sending them out in waves?

There have been ppl who have received a full figure for FREE from sideshow along with their purchase for no apparent reason at all other then being a customer and there wasn't this much of "unfair" talk :lol
