Planet Earth II - 10/10 Amazing the footage they can get. Must of been a painstaking feet.
I'll agree to this, David Attenborough's voice needs to be digitised now so it can be used on every future nature documentary!
Love how they also show the difficulties the crew encounters.
Talking of wild creatures;

Fantastic Beasts & where to find them - 7.5/10

Felt the same way.

I wouldn't call it bad, gave it a 6 myself, but it will be overrated in some circles.

The search for decent cosmic horror continues....

Even this music video gives me a better HPL fix :lol

I appreciate films being vague where you need to put together some of the story yourself... but they don't even give you the tools to even do that which bugged me. Great premise, poorly executed.

Fury

A decent war flick with a solid set piece and strong performance by Pitt, mitigated by a syrupy score and corny final act/10

Gotta make them yens.

Gonna let it slip though, looking back, the industry was impressive , running anime for over 3 years, with its sequel ready to go only a week after the finale? Plus a couple of OVAS that really add nothing to the thing? Impressive nonetheless.

never got to deep into DBZ just caught it when it was on, that is very impressive though.

Boss Baby: 6.5/10

I rate movies like this on a sliding scale, comparing it to other kids' movies of its ilk. And by that measure I would say it is slightly better than average. Not Disney-level by any means, but it was charming at times, had some funny moments (particularly with the Gandalf alarm clock which I chuckled at a few times), and some likable characters. Voice acting was good. The visuals during the more explicit fantasy sequences were well done. Also a fair amount of potty humor to keep the little ones entertained. Not something I would watch again unless I had to, but if you have kids, you could do worse.

One very strange thing during my screening was that I noticed at least one teenage couple, and one group of adults who came in to see this one without kids at all. . .hard to even imagine the conversation that leads to that happening.
