Got mine today! STAR WARS!

It rocks! And the best part is the 1977 six-track Dolby AND the 1977 mono-track - which has additional 3PO dialogue and some sound effects not in the 6-track which is something I noticed as a kid and always wondered about. Now I have confirmation. Love it!

Thank you Jimjimmyjones!

There's just no going back to the SE's now is there? :)

No. I wasn't crazy about them to start, so its very nice to be able to go back to the original superior version. I even like the old Lucas logo before it got all fancy and westernized.

But can we change the thread title to mkv2.7 now as that's the version "now available"?

The only thing I miss about the SE's is Ian McDermaid's Palpatine in ESB.

Sorry. But it's true.

Got mine as well and was blown away. Fantastic picture and sound. I will definitely be picking up ESB and ROTJ soon.

Sweet ! Glad to hear it guys ! I'm all caught up with orders. So I'm here to help anyone who needs them ! :panic:

Now Khev you know there isn't, nor will there ever be.

For those with a love for the Team Neg Silver Screen 35mm scan version of Star Wars, I now have their 35mm scan Grindhouse version of Empire Strikes Back for those interested.

Cool, what do you think of it? Recommended?

If you love Team Neg SW this will hit the nostalgia nerve. Dark, grainy, pops, that line to the left of the 20th century fox logo that used to always show. I felt like I was a kid again watching it on my little TV or at that bargain theater.

Looking forward to getting the grindhouse Empire. Love the Harmy versions but it's nice to watch the raw glory of these movies as we grew up watching them

I love my Harmy;'s too.

But sometimes when you are feeling nostalgic these scanned versions just hit home. Lot's of memories kick in.
