Just got this bad boy today and unbox it straight away

Is it normal to have little spots/stains all over the body?? Is this intended by Hot Toys? Or is this the common effect of chrome body?

Thanks

I was lucky enough to have a clear thumbprint imbedded on the cover of the battery housing on the back of the head...

Oh and I forgot - the left hand fell off on mine too :lol Some glue came undone that was holding it onto the wrist. Easy enough repair if I had some decent glue. I do not. The shops have seemingly stopped selling what I used to use.

It's deliberate. You'll also notice the lower legs aren't entirely chrome...
and probably won't notice that collarbones are turned the wrong way or that neck tubes/muscles go into the chest instead of disappearing between the collarbones...

wouldn't it be great to get an endo from terminator 1? Anyways i was watching terminator 2 last night, hadn't seen it in quite a while and its the first time i felt like the movie hasn't aged well at all. The cgi effects now look pretty ropey and dated and most of the dialogue between furlong and arnie is cringeworthy. It feels like one big moral lesson being pointed out to us during the whole film especially when arnie is asking furlong about why do you cry. That to me is very annoying.

Also i believe arnie is not as good where he has too much dialogue in films. I think in the first he only had like 18 lines and this made him just more menacing, cold and calculating. Sarah connors voice overs in t2 also unnerved me quite a bit and i felt like it was just embarrasingly bad come the end of the movie. The whole film just feels like one big set piece leading to another. Its amazing what repeat viewings can do but i guess i was victim of the buzz that surrounded the film when it first came out in 1991. Now with the benefit of age and hindsight i still think its a good movie but not timeless and certainly not a great movie. Still worth a watch but not as good as the first and very much a product of the late 80's/early 90's.

When the sculpt itself is completely wrong for T1 anyway correcting these things makes little difference.

one of them is assembly mistake and another is almost the same, so i thought they fit into painting mistake scheme.

Ah, understood.

Wouldn't it be nice if Hot Toys cared about accuracy? Really sad in this thread and every Predator related thread (ok almost every HT thread.)

At this point we in the A&R section consider it a novelty if Hot Toys makes anything relevant to us at all anymore....our accuracy complaints don't start till about 10 pages into the thread once we get over the shock :lol

I missed out on this because I foolishly believed the tease picture that showed the 1/4 and 1/6 endo which both appeared to be die cast chrome. Obviously the 1/6 was put on the back burner AKA (scrubbed) in favor of the next Iron Man variant.

At any rate, seeing the flaws this figure had, I still found myself wanting it as I doubt we will ever see a 1/6 chrome diecast endo from HT. Christmas came early this year as I just stole one for $320!!!

That was my rationale getting it. I hate 1/4, but I went for it anyway. And now the only reason I haven't sold it is for that very same reason. It's a QC disaster in some cases (fingerprints embedded on the finish, fingers falling off) not to mention the skull isn't accurate much at all... and don't bring up the teef.
