Well, you can help yourself out here by, maybe only watching it once, then avoiding threads that talk about it after a week or so. You'll get sick of anything if you spend too much time with it. . .

Yes and I believe I've given people that same advice who've complained about too many superhero movies in the past. :lol But it's still true. I'm proud of myself for enjoying Ant-Man in the theater but then not buying the blu-ray. I'm finally at the point where I don't need these massive series' all accounted for on my shelf. And I just don't watch most of the MCU films that I do own on blu-ray anymore anyway.

I have a feeling Rogue One is going to differentiate its self enough where it won't get lost in the main Star Wars stories because it's set in a different time with different characters. I think it will feel like a whole other movie.

Yeah, we'll see. I find myself kind of getting excited over those two images that were posted because "Cool, SW with the production designer of Edge of Tomorrow!" But what I'd much prefer is "SW with the DIRECTOR of Edge of Tomorrow." :lol But actually now that I look at it that group shot of characters I'm noticing that they kind of look like some of the guys that boarded Han's freighter in TFA. Don't know how well that will go over with the "Syfy channel" crowd.

Ghostbusters and not because im copying other people but because i want it to fail and fail badly. I want hollywood to stand up and take note that you can't screw around with the classics by changing the equipment and vehicle to look lame and having a pointless storyline involving an all female cast(seriously what were are they smoking when they came up with that idea?).

I absolutely loved ghostbusters as a kid. I remember the first time i seen it back in the early 80s as a kid i was blown away. For them to come up with this trash is an insult to the original movie and fans who love it.

At this rate, nothing will make TFA's numbers. :lol

I'm even doubtful Ep8 will perform as well as Ep7, even if the sequel is just as good or better. There's just so much pent up Star Wars demand, further exacerbated by the PT disappointment.

On a separate note, I don't know how Ghostbusters shot up to #1 on this poll. To be disappointed you actually have to have high hopes for the film :lol Maybe it's just my expectations are super super low for Feig's sorta-reboot.

As bad as I hope it is, and think it will be ... I'm not sure it's possible for the ChickGhostbusters to 'disappoint'. If it's incoherent drivel, it exceeded expectations.

My guess is Suicide Squad. DC's A-team is better than Marvel's ... but their B-team is far weaker.

Ep 8 is a bit tougher sell. The new characters aren't nearly as interesting as the return of the old timers. If Han, Chewie, Luke and Leia hadn't been returning for 7, I know I wouldn't have been nearly as driven to see it right away. And, Skywalker isn't quite the draw that Solo is.

Folks I know in their forties who grew up with the movies as kids (that would not be me) prefer Luke Skywalker to Han Solo because as kids they wanted to be him. Personally I was always a bigger fan of Han Solo having seen the Indy movies before Star Wars. I didn't really care for Luke much until I was a teenager and I understood how great of a character arc he has.

Another movie not listed on the poll is "The Huntsman." I know it's predecessor was not well-received by many in this community but I love that movie and I want this sequel to be good. I wasn't impressed by the trailer but I'll still see it in theaters.

I'm 36, and grew-up with Star Wars. Solo was cooler even back then.

I've always been more drawn to Luke's character rather than Han even as I got older, but that's just me.

I think Rouge is going to be a transition test......rumor say episode VIII is going to be radically different in the hands of the new director. Rouge will likely try to bridge that gap with an older story repackaged in a new vehicle. Even more so than TFA.

Hard to explain what I mean here.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. It'll make money like Man of Steel did but it'll probably be disappointing just like it. No hope for Independence Day: Resurgence. lol

**** Han Solo, he's lame . . . and dead.

Nah...Luke will never be as cool as Han. The reason Han is more popular is because he looks cool and the way he killed Greedo was again...cool, even the way he was sitting in that scene showed his natural coolness and charisma. Luke never had the charisma to be cooler than Han. In reality Han was a bit of a coward who was always on the run, but that doesn't change the fact the he was cool looking. He doesn't do **** in ROTJ...but so what? Luke didn't look cool until ROTJ, so no matter what he did in the previous films, he just couldn't compete with Han from a physical stand point. Han looked cool...that's it, that was his gimmick, and old Han didn't look cool anymore because no one likes a geriatric 75 year "bad boy"....

I'm a nobody on this site, so I'm sure no-one cares, but I was just thinking what an idiot I was for bashing the X-Men films. First of all, they are quality films, but they just haven't been my thing outside of Fassbender's Magneto—who I absolutely love! I haven't been grateful enough that people are working so hard for us to get these superhero films in the first place. Lucky for me that there's so many choices available every year!
