Ok, so I'm takin bets...mine just arrived and I'm dying to run out of work to open it...but this newb has YET to get any armor into an actual ground punch pose...will this be the one!?! :lol

Just picked up the Mk III since I missed out on the original and sell my Mk42. This will probably be my only 1/6 IM for the time being, the Mk III is such an iconic MCU armor design.

You guys think there's any chance HT will revisit the gantry for the Mark III? IMO it's still the most epic suit-up scene yet.

This the reason I ordered this figure. I picked up the gantry alone for a decent price and now can put an armor in it for WAY less than people are asking for the set.

Haven't had a chance to snap pics yet, but I have to say that this figure has quickly become my favorite one! I really underestimated how much I'd love it. For anyone on the fence about this guy - I say it's worth it!

Settling on this pose .... until the mood strikes yet again to change it ha

My helmeted head is back in the box, so I can't check now, but are you sure the jaw/chin is pushed up? (are there little vertical gaps on each side near the black cheek lines?) It looks a bit like the faceplate is too short in your picture, which would be explained by the chin being down.

You're right, it makes the faceplate look short.

I thought that the jaw was the case as well, but I've pushed it up and don't think it can go further. When you look at it from the sides, it fits well. I guess it's just the design. I had a look at Xenomorph's video and it looks similar.

I pulled my Stark head out of the box to check, and you were right, it actually looks a bit similar. The jaw on mine pushes up further so it's flush with the rest of the helmet. The issue is that the face plate doesn't seem to be the right size to fit well. The black mouth line is the same thickness on both heads, so there's no difference there; but the face plate on the Stark head seems a bit shorter/smaller. It fits the top/sides fine, but it's less snug at the mouth area. I even put the Stark face plate on the lighted head, and the black mouth line was a tiny smidgen thicker than with the regular lighted face plate (though it could've been my eyes playing tricks on me). Either way, it does seem to be because of the design of that head.

Of course, I can now never unsee that, so the helmeted head will probably never see the light of day again. :lol

1st post :)

Just ordered this today. Love the classic look, and wanted one with the flip up helmet for RDJ's face. The first Iron Man kinda launched what we are enjoying in theaters in recent years IMO.

I'm 48, but forever 13 mentally I think :) :) So I'm wading in a touch later than most here, I'm guessing.

Dig the forum. I've been lurking and reading waiting for my account to be activated.

Edit: Oh yeah, also have Deadpool pre-ordered, and just paid out the butt for the Avengers Loki on eBay. :thud:

Mine just came today. Spent all day trying to find a pose for it. Wasn't having much luck for some reason. Suddenly I got this going and I'm going to stick with it for now.

Loving the pics, geezy! Is he playing an air guitar in the fourth from the bottom? Haha
