Yeah. Where he put them in on the right side of the med kit. Sorta like the AVP ones have them. And, is that movie accurate? Not that I care that much, as I like it better, but just wondered how he attached them.

Question to Lone Wolf regarding this resolution of his long springlines to the mask...

How did you attach the lower ends? Are they drilled out and removable, or did you just glue them where they are? Just wondering which would yield the better result.

hey Les... you're refering to the wires from the mask to the back? i drilled two holes at the back of the armor with a needle. the armor's soft and thin, so it doesn't take too much effort. the wires are still removable from the back... just gotta get the right diameter

not sure about movie accuracy, i can't find any reference pics of where the wire really goes, but by putting them in the center, i thought it looked more neat. in the movie, his cleaner kit goes there... so i don't think that's the original position

After seeing this mod, and the way the cannons look, I almost regret NOT ordering a wolf. Nice work lonewolf.

I am SO GLAD I redid those guns! I thanked you in my YouTube vid for that LoneWolf. Very cool custom change to the figure. Made it much more accurate.

What if i buy another wolf. Then ill have two. But then it wont get any variation in my pred collection. lol. Well ive just order a cosbaby "few days ago" with an AVP Scar Predator "not hot toys" and a neca pred, now ill get the predalien, or another wolf or a P2 BD. If they have any one left when i get the cash :S.

hey Les, do you use acrylics on your paint ups?

Yes. Testors Model Master Acryl Acrylics. All colors flats, overcoats semi-gloss. Gloss coat all armor also, not just skin. Wolf was wet looking all the time.

Skin: Flat White, Skin tone light(creamy color), Insignia Yellow, Leather, Burnt Umber, Flat Black

Armor & Mask: Steel, Silver, Burnt umber, Flat Black. (also used Krylon Silver leafing pen for highlights)

Guns: Gold, Burnt sienna, Steel, Flat Black

That's it. Just use in the correct combos and with care.

I think the wolf looks too thin, anyone have pics of him next to the other preds?

Is that a general comment about the character design or you implying the messed up making him because the actual costume was designed to be the slimmest Predator to date.

Ummm....Both? I dunno the toy looks skinnier and he looks to be the thinnest on film as well compared to the bulkier AVP Predators.

I only asked because some people weren't aware of the anatomical changes ADI went with for Wolf. His head is somewhat flatter then previous Predators from a profile and the overall body is much thinner than the AVP Preds but also the P1 and P2 Preds. The figure looks even skinnier than the others because Hot Toys molded some of the armor as part of the extremities because this skinnier body is only of use to them as Wolf, where the other Preds could recycle bodies, so by making the armor part of the body mold, it doesn't look as bulky as sliding armor on top of a body. In a way, the previous Predators are a bit too Bulky becuase of the thickness of the armor pieces going onto the base body, Wolf is probably the more true to film proportions because of how he was made.

Ohh...

I just prefer them looking more ripped and big, than lean and thin. I prefer P1 and AVP preds.

Got mine yesterday !!:chew
