It looks like the skull and spine is from the old SDCC Gort figure. Maybe they decided not to include it as that was the exclusive accessory in that box.

Yep. Did this awhile back when the figure first came out. This had to be the best Predator I have ever seen made. It's just too bad that the stock factory paint was the limiting factor, but it's understandable for a mass produce figure. Anyhow I have some threads floating around here on the forum if you need to see more of this guy.

I honestly don't know of anything they could improve on the closed mouth sculpt. If they change anything they run the risk of making 2.0 worse than 1.0. The masked sculpt was the easiest redo because bio mask seam and visor gap.

I bought one of these through the forum some years ago. It came with all 3 heads (Closed mouth, opened mouth and modified masked with laser led upgrade.)
Still one of my favorite figures.

I keep seeing figures that I get all excited about only to realize I've been looking at heavily-modded figures the whole time. Thank God I've figured it out before pulling the trigger on anything so far...
