Hot Toys – MMS255 – Guardians of the Galaxy: 1/6th scale Star-Lord Collectibl...

Excellent pics, Dront!

I agree, Star-lord is probably the easiest figure I've ever had to photograph.

Star-Lord is such a terribad name more suited for a male pornstar or something.

It should be Star Hawk or Star Falcon but I guess that those were already taken. :lol

And what's up with that dorky mask?

Only a villain hides his face.

For Starters...Terribad? Who says that? Is it terrible or bad....oh its both. But they mean the same thing so why not use one or the other. Are you a hipster?

Second. Only a villain hides his face? You clearly haven't seen the movie so tell you what. Next time you go to space try breathing without a helmet. And let me know how it works for you. BTW... Iron Man, Batman, Flash, Arrow, Daredevil the list goes on...what do they all have in common. Hint: they aren't villains either.

lol troll.

Great pics Dront. Liking him without the jacket.

Did tween girls watch the movie?

That's what I'm talking about, not some forty year old comic.

Sort of hard to have a full discussion of Starlord's look and character without including the source material. And, like it or not, that source material has been around for a while.

It's unfair (and totally inaccurate) to dismiss the Starlord character as a marketing gimmick for girls. Doing so shows a lack of imagination, as well as a lack of knowledge of the character's history and a disregard for the character's journey. Might as well dismiss any and every female comic book character as eye candy for horny pubescent boys. While it may be true to an extent, there's far more depth to today's comic book characters than your remarks would imply.

Twenty, twenty-five years ago this character would have been the narcissistic and arrogant villain but today he is cast as a hero?

Give me a break!
