Just break the damn thing, smash it to pieces.

It's not a waste, they're sending you a new replacement body. Destroying the broken one doesn't put you at a loss and saves you from having to ship it back to them. Break it up and take pics, maybe salvage knee and elbow joints.

I might since I don't want to pay full price for a broken body (assuming they would charge full price if I don't break it) And, if nothing else at least I'll learn a little more about how they're built. I've never taken one apart, never had a reason to yet. I can also see how they wouldn't want me re-using the broken piece on another figure to get another replacement body, I wouldn't even think about doing that so it didn't come to mind that it might be the reason they want it destroyed.

Yeah dude, sorry to hear about the busted ankle. A shame. Glad to hear you're getting a replacement body though.

Btw, anyone recommend places to get any slim shoulder true types? The kind that'll work for Jokers. I need another body for purple suit. There are lots on eBay but I've never dealt with body sellers so can anyone recommend. Thanks in advance

There's a bank robber joker body going for $55 on eBay. I ordered one and it came in perfect condition.

Thos of you who preferred the V1 / separate mask, the v1 can be had for cheap now, with the release of the 2.0. Most of the BIN are now around $190-200.

Theres even one thats starting without reserve, Im gonna bid just for fun if I can get it for cheap, even though I have no idea which parts I want

How bout doing something different, like a video or somethin. Maybe burn them or flatten them using car tires, are just a few that pops up in mind. And upload it on YT, might get plenty of views

So did not need to hear that, awfully tempting. The next month or so may be the best time to pick up an old-school BRJ. But only, at least for me, if it's MIB.

Though Im sure when you place him next to Bane, Kyle, DX 12, DX11, that BR along with 2 face will look outdated and badly tailored.

If you want it, go for it, man. I'll probably wait a few more weeks, maybe prices will be even better, if I even decide to get it.

I don't have Bane or DX11, so there's not a lot of point of comparison other than the Armory that will be coming in. I think HT will revisit Ledger Joker again, so I'll wait on that one, Bane is a toss-up.

How bad is the tailoring on the first figure? If I remember correctly from the film, his bank-robbing attire is kind of ill-fitting, rumpled and disheveled anyway, so I don't know if improved tailoring is necessarily a good thing.

Funny thing is all those Batman's were smashed for no reason because just about all of them have the problem.

I've had mine up with the DX 11 and it looks fine. Bank Robber v1 was ahead of it's time and was the figure that got everyone into the game so to speak.

The eyes are where you can see Hot Toys have really improved.

I've had mine up with the DX 11 and it looks fine. Bank Robber v1 was ahead of it's time and was the figure that got everyone into the game so to speak.

The eyes are where you can see Hot Toys have really improved.

Paint job on the make up, along with body is **** too compared to today's standard. I think you should reserve that judgement until you get the BR 2.0 next week and report back to us, Vinny.

The normal head's hairline does look like ass, but I'd probably display it with the slicked back hair anyways.

If I can get this for a good price, I may jump on it. BRJ always reminded me of Verbal Kint, kind of ambling, kind of dopey, but it was all for show.

In hand, the V! looks fine next modern HT figures especially with the mask on.

Maybe, since I slept only for a few hours last nite, and still need to head to the gym later after work. Regardless, Im anxious to hear your thoughts of what you think of the BR 2.0 and I trust you wont be biased at all. Maybe post some side by side pics too. Noticed your pics are better now than the Demon-Scarecrow era.

Yes, the buttons on the shirt, the thickness of the fabric on the jacket, ugh. And someone correct me, the old v1 gun holding hands are loose and looks weird. Compared to the current firm ones, that makes him looks like hes holding the gun.
