have you tried folding the leather a bit so the seam winds up towards the body. that's how most real holsters are made. but either way it looks great.

I know what you mean. The Skiffmasters holster is on the left side of his body with the handle facing forwards so he can grab it with his right hand. I may redo this one "inside out" so to speak. Thanks for the feedback. :)

Kithaba in the process of being redone. Rebuilt the belt. New jacket. Thanks Duane! :)

Some more work on Kithaba. I dremmelled out the neck area so the head would sit lower and tilt a bit downward as seen when he is standing guard on the Skiff. Now to rework the green bandolier. :)

I started on Wooof today. Loads to do. Trim up the skirt and sort out alot of other stuff, but I think he will look good when all is said and done. :)

Each custom gets better and better. The pants, leather work and Chest plate along with that fur skin really make this thing pop. Awesome, work sir!

Where do you get the skins and leathers? Amazing work.

Thanks. I cant take credit for the outfit. Duane has been having his hand at sewing and doing a great job so far. All I am doing is painting/weathering what he sends me and adding bits to his outfits. :)

Cheers man. I have been going back and tweaking/upgrading most of my customs. Duane deserves a lot of the credit here, without his work none of this would be possible.

Man those are sensational. duane is pretty amazing at just about everything he does.

Yeah, Duane's stuff is epicalicious. I really admire the work of you long time veterans...Duane being a stand out, of course. Wish I knee deep in as many customs as you guys. Working on the man cave under the house this week...hopefully someday that can be my secret bank vault of customs.

:lecture Duane is "da masta".

Thats got to be exciting working on "the man cave". Sounds epic, look forward to seeing how it turns out. :)

I was visiting my mom over the weekend and she told me she had dug up some of my old Star Wars books. I thought these were long gone. She found my ESB coloring book and my Star Wars storybook. You want to talk about a trip back in time.

It is so cool to see how I looked at all things SW when I was 8. :)

Even back in 1980 I thought his jacket was blue.... :D

Just a couple of pages I thought were interesting. Why did I think the buildings on Cloud City were orange?

This is the book I looked at every night before bed. There was no internet, no SW on TV. This book was the only thing I had that had pictures from the movie. These two pictures in particular were the ones that really stayed with me over the years. The "Three Tuskens" and Vader looking down at the fallen Rebel Troopers. These images ARE Star Wars to me. I will never forget the first time I saw these pictures. I get kinda overwhelmed thinking that I held this book as a 6 year old.

I know these are not pictures of new customs, but this is why to this day I love Star Wars so much and enjoy doing custom work. I have always enjoyed coloring, drawing and painting Star Wars stuff. Even when I was 8, I tried to get things accurate. :) Anyways, I just wanted to share this with you guys. To me, this is what the hobby is all about. :)

Boo Yahh Chacka, Nails right on the head mate.

I remember my local toy shop and spending hours in there looking at the star wars rack.
I can remember my first star wars annual, and filling my first Panini Sticker book.

You keep posting doode, I love the smell of Star Wars In The Morning

You should make high resolution scans of the color pages and post them up somewhere. I think I had the same coloring book, but I can guarantee that it's unfortunately long gone. :(

Cool stuff chris.
last year or so I went on a run to my parents and dug up all my original stuff too. Star wars toys, comics, all kind of stuff. I really need to build a big display cabinet just for the vintage stuff.
btw the 8 yo chaka was right..........the coat was blue..........:yess:..................:panic:

Cheers mate!! I had the sticker books too! Good times for sure!! :)

If I get some time I will do that. I had quite a few of the coloring books. I actually took the pages out of my ROTJ books, framed them and put them on my sons room when he was a baby. They looked pretty cool. These books are fun to look back at now, glad my mom kept "everything" that was SW for my brother and I. :)

Thanks man. You should totally do that, would be awesome. I would love to see that.

I framed a lot of my comics, comic pages. They are really great to display, so nostalgic.

Awesome, awesome, awesome. This is definitely the sort of thing that brought it all back. We were all kids knocked off our butts with this film, something today's generations will never experience. Any glimpse of Star Wars as a kid was heavily sought after. The love of this feeling and movie is relived here daily with you guys. Lovin it.

I had that book too. If memory serves me, it actually had photos of Luke and Biggs on Tatooine before he left and I remember thinking I don't remember that! Then 30 years later its comes out on the Blu-ray.

8yo Chaka also colored the snow brown, so…. ;)

Haha! I know right? For some reason I remember there being lots of rocks and things being dirty on Hoth. Hell, who knows. :D

You have nailed it. Well said. My thoughts exactly. It was a great time to be a kid thats for sure.

Nate, there is in fact a pic of Luke talking to Biggs. I thought the same thing. There is actually a few pictures that were not in the movie. The "Three Tuskens" is one of them. I think that is why that one was one of my favorites. :)
