Yeah, it's a nightmare. I used a XBOX halo figure 8" for my last Jawa, but the hand are sort of sucky. But after a little fake fur, they look better, but still don't hold the gun like I want. The smaller Jawa's are great with medi Jawa hands. But the Medi is too damn expensive just to use the parts.

I know what you mean, the Medis would be a nice base but not worth the $$. I suppose until I get the bodies sorted out, I could use the cloaks, gear etc for dead Jawas in my Dewback dio. :)

The skiff master weathering is looking good so far…nice & grimy! Can't wait to see what other Chaka-istic touches you add:clap

Owe it all to you my friend! Thanks man!! Keep the awesome-ness coming!! :)

There are a range of military figures here in the U.K called "H.M Forces" , which are about 8-9 inches tall . The articulation and build quality is excellent and I'm sure they could be picked up pretty cheap . Although a little tall for Jawas , I'm sure one could be chopped and made use of . I used an old "Little Big Man" for my Jawa .

Thanks TG, I will look into mate. :)

Doing some more work on the Skiffmaster tunic this afternoon......

This is really well done, Chaka. Nice. But which is the true color? Looks like the camera is playing tricks....as my iphone does during night photos.

Thanks Will. I actually took these pics with different lighting. The true color is closer to the top one, it was taken in natural light. The second one is pictured under my work lamp. I am going to add a bit more "light" or khaki color to it eventually.

holy gwakamoley that looks damn fine so far chris.

Last update tonight...
I altered the pants so they arent so tight at the ankles. Im going to use Ignite Toys "Viking" boots. I will add the straps to the tops next.

Im going to use the Sideshow Bith hands for this one. They look pretty good when painted. I will do my tochups/repaint of the head and then paint the hands to match.

I need to find the right pouch to add to the belt. I also am going to scratch build the holster.

Im starting to work on holsters for all my skiff guards and their blasters. Loads of trial and error here. I have used some of the Sideshow holsters as templates and have done some mods. Greedos holster is nice and simple, but too short. Han's is good, but for a different style blaster. Anyways, getting there. Might have to tweak this one a bit, but I like it. Maybe round off the corners a bit. Once I get it how I want, I can duplicate them easily.

Thanks. Trying to decide how "fancy" with them I want to get.

have you tried folding the leather a bit so the seam winds up towards the body. that's how most real holsters are made. but either way it looks great.
