SS never said there were any separate lines within the DC comic PFs. Green Lantern is just Green Lantern, Batman is just Batman, pose them together or apart, with or without their teammates, with or without their villains, however you feel works out in your mind the best, or not.

I don't get why people are comparing Hal Jordan to Captain America and Batman. Bats and Cap are Brick ****houses, Hal is muscular but he's a leaner muscular. I'm putting my bats right next to GL and Deadpool and I think it will look awesome.

Does anyone have him in a besta with closed tombo doors? The reason I ask is because I had to adjust the shelf to get my Spidey comiquette to fit with the shelf fairly lined up with the tombo doors. Judging from the first photo it seems like I'd have to adjust it a lot more. I'd hate to close the tombo doors and see a huge discrepancy between the shelf and door.

I still think his face is too dark, but it is what it is. The armpit issue doesn't really bother me though. Yes, it's not perfect but to me it's still the best Batman statue in the market.

Just because Sideshow doesn't tell us specifically what they are doing it doesn't mean seasoned collectors can't make educated guesses.

We all have seen lines get started, abandoned, closed, etc. in all different scales that sometimes don't match. No explanation given until you hear about a new announcement that is suddenly part of a "brand new line/license". That's how Sideshow operates. The secrecy keeps things exciting but it also does not allow for very clear planning. That's the way we all collect: blindly and one piece at a time.

any evidence that supports this? I can't see SS starting a line with GL, and not specifying it is a different line then the other DC PF's they were releasing. Especially considering all the uproar the SDCC pics caused. Seems like conspiracy theory stuff here.

Probably a deposit. Lots of people are now taking small amounts for a deposit to avoid fees on the total amount.

I agree. Who says that Batman, Superman, GL, WW, etc... are supposed to be posed together?? Sure you can if you want. But Batman defiantly has his own set of villains to be set up with. GL will have his. I am sure there will be Superman villains also. Those who come down on the action pose of GL, well I feel that If GL and or batman were both true 1/4 scale they would look great displayed together. It's not like they are all on the same base. If they were the action pose would be off. But I think they are putting these characters in poses that best represents them. Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman can be in classic museum type poses. It fits their characters. GL and Flash have to be in action type poses IMO. Museum for those two would be sort of boring. They just are not as iconic. You got to show off GL ring for goodness sakes. I don't know what the hell you do for aqua man . But The fact Batman is too big and GL is too small is because you have different artist working on them and the make them as they want. Since SSC was not calling any of these the JL collection I don't think they were going for a unified look.

I am sure SSC will be making another GL. I would just not plan on seeing a larger GL anytime soon. In fact I would not be surprised to see SSC starting a JL comiquette collection before they ever make another GL PF.

Of course this is all just guess work on my part also.

We are all speculating here so there is no "proof" to my speculation. You say you can't see Sideshow doing lines within lines?

Example: Marvel diorama line. That line had full sized dioramas for "teams" like the Xmen Vs Sentinel pieces. It had Hero vs Villains (Wolvie vs Sabretooth). It had Hero Vs Hero (Spidey vs Hulk). It had bust scale sized pieces (Fantastic 4 and the Spidey/Venom). It had smaller scaled teams (Dark Avengers and X-Force).

Then they got sick of it and did away with the whole line making all the discussions, the lists and requests we all made completely obsolete.

Sideshow does whatever they want. The GL "PF" turned out to be more of a smaller companion piece to Sinestro and who knows how many more lantern pieces they release. That much is obvious to me. Others can of course believe whatever they wish.
