You can charge $1000,000 for all I care. Doesn't mean any people are fool enough to buy it at that price. Nope, I would pay $250 max. Not to worry, they will probably do a reissue anyway. :peace

why would they re-issue something that apparently didn't sell well and then took forever to move out of the wharehouse (at discount even)

to re-issue,they would have to meet Minimum order quanity (MOQ) just to go into production again. They wouldn't go back to produce something just for the few collector's missed out on it

They could do a brighter gold repaint variant. I would buy that from them in a second. It only makes sense that SS does a variant Cobra Throne reissue to go with all the new Cobra releases. Also, people like me could buy it that missed out the first time because I have only been in the hobby a year or so.

I take it pot is legal in your state?

Well there are going to be a lot of people that want a throne with the new Commander but refuse to pay price gougers. It would be smart of SS to make a new throne. The did an ES of 150 for the variant Storm PF so they could easily make 500 more of these at $199.99 and people would buy them. There are way more collectors now than back when the first Throne was released.

I agree instant buy and for the people saying "you snooze you lose or stop crying about it" I wasn't around nor had the money to get one so my situation is a understandable one so I'm hoping they reissue it.

:goodpost::exactly: Like you and me, there have already been numerous people wanting a reissue of the Cobra Throne. Here's hoping Sideshow will listen and make it happen. It is only price gougers that don't want to lose the supposed "value" of their original thrones that are being naysayers. :peace

I count maybe 5 people here

for Sideshow to make this..they will need to turn on the machines for 750-1000 more (MOQ)

Is there enough buyers out there to make it worth Sideshow's while to sit on thrones for another 2 years in their wharehouse??? The Environments are SLOW seller's...don't see it happening

Lol at a reissue of something that sold poorly to begin with. Sorry if you guys got in the game too late, that's the name of the game and why they're called "limited editions."

You mean like the Hot Toys 2.0 editions or Sideshow's Deluxe figure re-issues? :lol

I see your point, but there are more collectors now and the Cobra Throne is the only environment that was worth getting imo in the first place :dunno

Did you miss all those SPAM emails about all the clones they're re-releasing? :lol

that is true..but knowing how production works with toys etc...they have to make a certain amount just to even go back into production...would it be profitable

No,I got the non-sense emails...but 12 inchers vs an environment?...most folks just want the figures

Doesn't matter. Sideshow's pretty much compromised their integrity by re-running/re-releasing "limited edition" collectibles. Honestly, where they're at now, with customer service starting to suck, QC out of control and prices gouging left and right, I wouldn't put anything past them. Hell, you read what Q typed. That's insider confirmation on their decline as the company we all once knew and loved.

honestly,I don't know how any company can keep raising there prices and expect to survive in this economy unless they are making these for dirt cheap....so they must have enough customers keeping everything afloat

as long as they keep announcing pre-orders,I don't see Sideshow going anywhere for a While.

plus, changing crew doesn't really mean a company is suffering...just like many jobs, some companies look for new blood and then get rid of the old..

I didn't mean suffering, insomuch as turning into that cold, hard, self-serving company that no longer cares about their customer base. The "suffering" comes later when their hardcore collector base walks from the bull**** and the ADHD crowd they're currently pandering to moves on to the next big thing.

They had it in stock for about 3 years.
It sucks you missed out. Deal with it. Expecting Sideshow to rerelease it, isn't going to make it happen.
If you couldn't afford it, maybe you're in the wrong hobby. Nothing wrong with that.
Or maybe G.I. JOE wasn't your focus then, in which case I do not feel any pity whatsoever.

Meh doesn't really bother me that I missed out just that it would be nice if they did a re-release. If not, no biggie. It's a space eater a lot of people say anyway. Besides I would rather have more figures than a throne but if they did re-release I would buy it. No biggie either way. I defintely wouldn't pay ebay gougers more than $250. LMAO ebay sellers asking $450 for the 1/6 Throne when I could buy another PF and 1/6 figure for almost that price or a Sideshow 1 to 1 bust almost for the same amount. Lolol paying that much not ever going to happen. Those ebay sellers will be collecting dust at their asking price. It's just a 1/6 environment after all, onto the next.... :)

You remind of me the fable about "The Fox & The Grapes".
