Joda - Purchased a case from BBTS. None of the Hudsons were cross eyed - one came close but still, nothing close to what I've seen in other reports. Neca really went all the way with these guys - they could have sculpted the armor onto the figure but instead, it's spot glued in place...which means, with a little care and some patching, you can have alternate versions with their armor off...just sayin'. I hope for some neutral facial expressions down the road...esecially Hudson.

Thanks for the information. I managed to get 1 collector's quality set of Series 1 from BBTS, and they look great - better than the sets I got from either Amoktime or Cornerstone Comics. Though now I want to keep them as my MIP set, lol. I've just put in one more order with BBTS for a "Standard" Set (all they had left), so we'll see if the quality holds up.

I should've just sprung for a case, and I'm kicking myself, but I'll be prepared for the next Aliens releases. (I just wish finding good paint apps wasn't such a pain in the a**)

Got my series one today... Love em, hicks is awesome, Hudson is alright though I would have been cool with a normal head lol. And the alien is fantastic, solid articulation and no mouth problems.

The one thing I did do was glue hicks's shotgun case to the figure, broke the strap and threaded it under the harness so it sits nice and flush with his body then re glued it around back.

So grabbed predator series 9, mud dutch and delete cloaking predictions are ****ing awesome

Agreed. In fact, I personally prefer "cocky as hell/**** eating grin" Hudson vs. any of his 'game over' faces.

Would be nice to see if they release it with a helmet and no arm bandage.

Wow, just got Hicks and Hudson and I love them. Im not gonna move the upper articulations until I put them in hot water, they look so breakable. Im into customizing them, as soon as I get my camera back will post some pics. Added macfarlane´s hicks collectors club helmet, headlamp and tracer to Neca´s Hicks. ;)

Got my Marines today and I'm once again excited for the line. It's like these were painted and assembled by a completely different company. Love the soft plastic armor and the articulation is incredible. Couldn't ask for more.
My one gripe is that, while I like the painted plastic look (when it's smooth like on these, not lumpy like on the Terminator), these ones seem unfinished. The paint feels raw and unsealed in certain areas like the joints and you have to chip it away to loosen them up. Also it rubs off on the weapons and cracked a bit on the strap of Hicks' shotgun case (I thought it was a break in the plastic at first). Minor nitpick, but it's something worth mentioning. On to the half-assed pics...

Hope my Genocide packs turn out nicely... they can't screw up a black Alien, can they? Can they??

Is this confirmed? Is NECA doing 18" marines in the future or just a (shared) wish?

They're doing a new 18" Alien (not sure if it's the Giger version or if it's a Warrior -- hoping for the latter because HOW FUGGIN' COOL WOULD THAT BE!?), no word on the Marines. Seeing how well the 7" ones turned out, I'd gladly buy the bigger versions.

Took a few snaps again. Msn these are amazing figures!

i'm loving the warrior alien most of all, I don't understand why some don't like the brown highlights on it, that's the actual color of it in the movie.and I think it looks great, I have 2 and mite get another one.

To be honest I don't think NECA figures photograph well generally, especially close-up detail shots. The paint ruins them for pics but I generally find it tolerable in person.

Agreed, though I think the recent Dutch figures are an exception. They look 100x better than the marines IMO.

I prefer the painted sculpt look to the semi-translucent skin look they did with Dutch. Their Dutch sculpt is really good, though.

Picked up Hicks and Hudson today. Passed on the Alien since I have so many from past years and I do not open them. Hicks looks amazing if you get a well painted one. Hudson's looks great. From the four I looked at mine was the best.
