I started out as that kind of collector so my entire DBZ, TF Beast Wars & Reissue collections are exactly that.

Just lately though I am moving towards actually displaying stuff but I have zero room
We currently live in a one bedroom flat & with a 1yr old daughter any spare space we have is reserved for her toys lol

As soon as we can move I will be getting the entire MP collection & HT out & that's before I start cracking out the Statues & stuff as well

It's a nice dilemma because of the awesome stuff but even if I can get a couple more Detolfs I'm possibly going to offload a few things to help create some more space.

Just kidding about MOC collectors, I'm probably the last person to be critical as I'm a Transformers fan with no intrest in Optimus Prime

Fair enough on Perceptor if you liked the CHUG one.

I only bought it on impulse and never really liked it, along with Kup & Blurr it was one of the figures that started the decline of my intrest in Classics.

This new one looks to have a lot cleaner robot mode with no annoying backpack kibble and retains the original alt modes. If it's successful I'm hoping the same company will do a decent Kup, Blurr or even Drift.

Of my 4 Detolfs 3 are presently reserved for Hot Toys figures and unless I make room for a couple more I'll eventually have to evict the Transformers from the other one, pack them away and just rotate my displays every so often....which I would HATE as it'd make me feel like one of those MIB/MOC weirdos who never, ever opens anything

Nice pics, apparently the main Takara presentation is Saturday so if there's an announcement about MP20 it'll be then.

It's probably going to be Galvatron or Ultra Magnus which will be easy passes for me.

Then again Takara may want to capitalise on the way the Autobot cars are selling and we may find that Mirage or Hound get pushed up the schedule.

I think Sunstreaker will be left until the latter half of next year as even though Tiger Track is an Exclusive it's still another yellow Lambo and having two on the market at once would be counter productive.

Aside from an MP20 announcement I wonder if we'll get some news about a variant for one of the Nissans such as a Diaclone Bluestreak....that mold would look sweet in a metallic blue.

Id be happy with everything you suggested,especially Hound. I have a feeling it will be Ultra Magnus as Mp20 though. As for Diaclone Bluestreak I say bring him on as well! We are so close to the next reveal now!

I don't love it, but it helps that it cost me $8.

This is okay, but I think it'd basically have to be a G1 Masterpiece-style version to get me to pay third party prices.

Or Animated. Just couldn't say no to a Stephen Hawking-style Perceptor.

Smokescreen is pretty significantly different from a mold POV. He's got a spoiler on the back, a different front end, he's even got the wheels on a different place in robot mode.

Some MP news. Next one is a Sideswipe remold, based on the G2 version of the character.

And fans get to decide the next Autobot leader MP, it looks like. Some really rough choices in there. Would love a MP Star Saber, Fort Max, Powermaster OP and Primal.

Figure does look great, by the way, but I'm not into the wacky variants and repaints.

I think the rumor about a licensing issue was bollocks, fanboy scaremongering at it's most transparent.

There's no way Lamborghini would have wanted to bail at the first sign of any issue....there would have had to have been a decent rapport built between the companies before any deal was signed so it's reasonable to assume their would be room for further dialogue to smooth things over if any issue occurred.

But in Internet land such reason goes out the window and we instead got all the doom & gloom and that the future of licensed Transformers as we know it was screwed

Shogo Hasui said in his recent interview that Sideswipe isn't viewed as a top tier character so taking that into account it's likely that Takara clearly decided to do one run instead of risking not selling out of the second run and losing money....they had no guarantee at that point that Sideswipe would sell out it's initial run.

Repaints can be annoying but if buying a few more MP12's helps get a proper Sunstreaker into production or helps get another new license then so be it.
