Ok so I watched this early today and i'm actually more excited to see it in the theatres now. While i'm really tired of Zombie's white trash "F this and F that" dialogue, I thought it was a really good old-school horror flick...

I saw the Neca Michael fig for this new film in a store today. Looked cool but I didn't pick it up. Anyone getting one?

Probably not, i'm still hoping Sideshow will produce another 1/6 scale figure of either this movie or a better one of Halloween 1.

Is there some leaked footage on the net by any chance? I heard somewhere that there was a deleted scene that didn't make the final cut but surfaced online?

Hear anything?

Nah I haven't but then again I haven't really been following this film.

I am, I checked my local shop last week and wasn't in yet, was planning to this week, probably go out tomorrow. Regardless of the quality of this particular film, I think it's a very nice figure and as far as another Michael Myers piece, I'll be happy to have it with my other NECA Michael from the original film and the McFarlane Michael.

Can't beat the Myer/Loomis diorama set. I still can't believe that was made. Thanks a bunch NECA! :D

I actually don't have that, I have Michael from the Michael 2-Pack of adult and young Michael, but I may pick up the Loomis pack down the road, tough sell though cuz really I just want Loomis, Michael is the same as what I already have and the chunk of house is no big deal to me.

yeah i started watching the first few minutes of it this morning while getting ready for class.... the trailer trash dialogue is really not needed IMO. so far the 20 minutes that i've seen left me really disappointed. i hope it picks up a lot towards the end of the movie.

I am going to see this movie tommorrow night and have no hopes of being pleased with this film. Why am I going? I am a Halloween nut, thats why. I don't care for Rob the (Wannabe) Zombie nor do I care for anything he has ever produced/directed.

I'm sure either late tommorrow night or early Saturday morning I will be on here discussing how pathetic this film was. Why am I so negative about this movie and Zombie now? I recently saw the deleted "Rape" scene and have no respect for anything Zombie can bring to the table, his idea of Horror has NOTHING to do with what Carpenter had to offer.

Its unfortunate that $$$ is the primary reason greedy movie companies can't just leave an absolute classic like Halloween alone.

Be back soon.

^^i agree. i have the tickets purchased already, but now that i watched the leaked version i almost dont want to bother wasting my time tomorrow night. Dr. Loomis is the only character i think was worth a crap in the movie, but only because i like McDowell and think he's a great actor.

Rob Zombie's Halloween WILL be the best out of all of the Halloween films!!!!:rock:bow

I'm going to see this movie in a few hours. Sadly, I tried every store around me that might carry the NECA figure and looks like it's holding to the September release, perhaps the one finding was an exception to the rule.

It is in stock on online stores such as CornerStoreComics. They are about $12 before shipping. I'm just going to wait till FYE gets theirs in.

Ya I'm sure but I won't bother with online because I have a comic shop, hot topic, FYE and Spencer's gifts all within 10 minutes of my work, I'd rather just shoot over on lunch break and save a buck or two on shipping to pick it up myself.

I'm actually pretty excited about this movie. My wife and I watched the original last night and are anxious to see what stays the same and what really differs....

Yeah my wife loves Horror movies, probably more than me. She is the one who went out and Fandango'd the tickets for tonight and informed me that we were going. :lol
