While the missing hilt may not be a big deal to some, it is the integral weapon for any Jedi much like a gun is to a Marine. A Marine is never without his gun and a Jedi is never without his light saber.

This is true.

However Marines are prepared to improvise, adapt and overcome any situation. With or without a weapon.

As Marine Veteran I know this first hand.

I like to think that Jedi are like Marines in that aspect.

I wasn't baiting you. I don't do that. I was pointing out that your post doesn't give anymore weight to the situation and that if you think saying that will add something to it.

I don't know what you saw through but it wasn't as clear as you might think. I've been on this board since before we moved here (Been a member since December of 2003) so I'm just trying to help a new guy know that ranting like a mad man isn't the best way to go.



There is no issue if people say that this was a mistake. There is also no issue with people being upset. However, people can do it without calling names. That IMO shows a limited vocabulary and that you can't rationalize things like an adult. There is no legit reason to call names and doing so will get you into hot water here that is a fact.

Not including the lightsaber was a mistake I think. I'm pretty sure I just said as much. However, I'm not going to start calling names because of it. As far as saying good or bad. If I feel the need to say something one way or the other I do so. I make sure I am calculated with my comments when I don't feel things went right so they can be taken in the way I want. I want to make sure I am taken seriously by Sideshow or whoever and over the years by doing it this way I have been by these companies I've dealt with.

Josh ...everthing I mentioned was 100% legit...If guys cant handle it then tough...as long as the gripe I have is 100% legit it's ok...not worried about what the forum thinks...that's the freakin problem with todays world...I hope the SS guy in charge rips into whoever is responsible here or fires em or fines em...If any of that does not happen then nothing will be learned IMHO...nice only takes you so far Josh...Again I'm not Nam and have a 100% gripe...I'm not getting this piece now and that's it...my beef was with how Sideshow handled it...I feel like next youre gonna say it's only business...no emotions are allowed...some of us handle things different Josh and sometimes some folks deserve being given the business...that's all....This hobby for many of us means alot...not heart attack alot but alot

When mine comes I am going to make one from green stuff (purchased from the games workshop) and attach it with a tiny bit of velcro (hook and loop) I love making stuff like this. I broke My Sauron Statue's spikes on the helmet and made new ones and it looks mint. Life's little challenges!
