I like my Big Chap, surprised he's going for as cheap as he is but unless you want to sell then I guess it doesn't matter to much.

I personally think it's because you can't play with it at all. Which made its variety of poses to be near zero. It couldn't even do CM's pose. Medicom Alien suffered the same fate even with more movie-accurated sculpt, not to mention 19" neca one which on sale for 40-50$ around here. (I own them all)
Personally I think dog alien is the best from HT since I can play with it and beautiful sculpt.

Why? What's the average price of this one on bay nowadays?

Not sure, but hardly any at $200 are selling. Check the completed listings. So that means IF any are selling at all then its closer to the retail price 3 years ago... $135. Which is unusual for an old HT figure. Most all go up in price eventually. Unless they deteriorate.

I picked up this figure about 2 years ago (I think) for $125 shipped. Once I glued the mouth shut I really like it. Not much poseability or playability, but I just pose and stand so it works for me. Still really like this figure. Never caught on though.

Not related to the current discussion, but my Big Chap took a dive off the top of my Detolf a couple of weeks ago and fell onto the hard wood floor. And surprisingly, he seems none the worse for wear! I figured that at least a limb or two would snap from that.

I see. Actually, I just trade a HT figure worth $245 for a MISB of this one lately. Wow, great catch! Yeah, his limited poseability ain't a biggie for me. I just hope this won't deteriorate soon.

With that said, I generally love this figure! :clap

is anybody selling this figure or the dog alien because im not paying over 200 for this guy on ebay

I am. Not because I dislike it or anything - we have a newborn now, and it's just time to slim down the collection and cut back on things, I guess. I'm going to focus on Sideshow's GI Joe line only (when it comes to 1/6th, at least).

Anyway, check my thread in the commerce section if interested. :)

Too bad you're letting go of this nice figure. :( Good luck on your sale man. :)

Thanks!

Yeah, these are all great figures, but in the end they don't really "fit" with most of the stuff I have. It'll be a bit sad to see them go, but nice to see the collection become more streamlined, too. :)

Not sure where the best place to get one is but thanks for reminding me about this film and bringing the attention to the trailer!

Hi...sorry for maybe clear question, but isn't base and figure too high for ikea Detolf? Or it is okay? And do you someone have pics with Big chap and new HT Classic Predator? Thanks a lot.

The Big Chap on his stand fit in a Detlof just fine...
