The one on ebay is the final production piece. I got the confirmation direct from someone who spoke with the HT people at SGTCC.

I believe the ebay one is probably a sample for HT Japan that somehow ended up on ebay.

The reality is that we won't be getting the proto sculpt. HT apparently have gone thrown five revisions since and this was the one approved.

Somehow, someone from Milla's camp felt that it is the best representation of Milla.

I spoke to my uncle's cousin's sister's brother's nephew and he said that he'd spoken to a janitor whose friend's aunt knows a guy who works next to Hot Toys who said that after the 547th revision, Milla's friend's niece's grandma's dog's groomer said it's the best representation, so we should be fine.

I really hope you never have to be deposed cause you'd suck at it. it's the first Milla figure, if it's awful then that's the way the cookie crumbles and they might not do another. so just stop with adding the fuel on the fire, either get it or don't. Final sculpt or not, just quit with the... this person said this, and I spoke to this inanimate object. it's tiresome.

No one from Milla's camp would give a company the go ahead with out her permission, they would probably be fired for doing something like that. This is the first action figure of Milla ever to be produced, I think she would like to have her own personal say in the matter of how she is represented by a third party's product and Milla has said she has had no contact with the company making it. Hot toys has just been lying every time they say they are getting her approval.

If you did then you'd know that it is her cause she is always posting cell phone pictures/videos from on location of movie sets, pictures of her family when they are on vacation and even does live internet concerts with some of her friends that are in the music industry.

Oh and let's not forget the family of fans she invited to the set to hang out with when filming Resident Evil Extinction or the girl in England that won a dress Milla wore that was auctioned for charity and then let the same girl come to her photo shoot she was doing in England and even let her and her father spend the night in the hotel room she was staying at.

I don't get why meh HCG can sculpt Milla in 1/4 and release it and HT can't... It's dumb.

Her likeness is worth millions of dollars to Lóreal, Cover Girl, etc., I highly doubt she'd risk anything coming out that wasn't approved by her or her agency that could potentially blemish her career.

Meh. Don't Follow twitter period. and it's not an unreasonable, nor unrealistic assumption for it to not be her, as it's not an uncommon practice for celebrities to hire someone to answer mail for them, and make statements for them because they themselves are too busy to do so.
If it's actually her, and not some assistant, Awesome. If not, who cares?

Even so, just because she's claiming she doesn't have any contact with HT herself, doesn't mean her people don't either.
