Hot Toys - Iron Man 2:Mark IV Limited Edition spec

How do you pose this guy, I am normally bad at posing but find one eventually. But the MK IV has proven such a thorn in my collection. No matter what I just cant get something that looks right.

Any universal poses that others use to display him. I want a standing/ intimidating look but mine just looks ....constipated.
I realise that due to other figures I have little room to pose but come on.

I plan to have Thor in the centre.

Sorry mate but I have to say the WarMachine does not look flattering in that pose and they seem to be "held back", maybe changing of their arm poses will be better,

Yeah he is laying a stand atm but I was trying to get a sort of walking up to you look.
May try a hand blast attack but for me as the hands cant be 90 degree articulated they look a little off as the arm need to be angled.
I originally had him flying/jumping on his dio stand but due to room and wanting to fit Thor I had to take it out.

Also trying to have everyone look like a line up picture, which is why no big action moves.
May give all the pages a look and see what others have done.

I do agree with u on the constraint of space, I am extremely bad at posing figures too and my brother even laughed at my posing of figures, saying they looked lost in translation hahaha.
I also take a lot of reference from photos posted on this sideshow forum and there r a lot of possibilities with Hot Toys but I am only good being a copycat.
Have fun trying out different poses and gonna get my replacement part for Ironman Mark IV, took me 3 months to finally have a closeure to my defect. (missing a right back flap on my Ironman hind leg)

I went through several different poses with IM, but here's how I currently have mine

alright, this must be the cheapest way to get the mark IV. if anyone wants to split the SUIT UP GANTRY let me know. you get the mark IV i get the gantry. we split the cost right down the middle! whos in?

its a decent plan.
you get the mark IV for 50 less than you could on ebay. i get the gantry for 80 less than i could by it self!

plus ill even throw in the donut box, donut, and a set of shades.

He can be hard to pose. I spent way too long getting the Mark VI into this position:

You might also want to try something like this, with a wide leg stance but the knees straight.

haha i guess! i was hoping to keep it to use with this diorama, but the price of it has forced my hand, i cant be excessive, and will just use another iron man in its place.

Screwed. Came across a great deal for this considering I more than missed it the first time and I can put the rest of the funds earmarked for the Gantry towards another HT release. Win-Win. Looking at the pics of this and the Mark VI, I'm glad I decided to get it.

yeah the IV is the best iron man suit yet.... but i suggest the mark V will replace it in 1st place.
