Yeah I know but the thing is each of the sculptors do have a certain style, Kojun has a stylized way of sculpting hair/hairline, lips, nose, jaw, everything.

You can see the similarities in all of his sculpts from a stylistic point of view.

He's an incredible sculptor no doubt but I do prefer some of the others, particularly Song Hye Hyun (not talking about non-Hot Toys sculptors which is an entirely different matter).

I have two of Kojun's sculpts in my collection and I feel honored because I've been a fan since his early Jack sparrow/Godfather days.

you're certainly right he does have a certain style that is noticable, but I feel that no matter how stylized it is he always gets the likeness down. Of course I'm speaking only from HT sculptors, as I really enjoy other sculptors who are not employed by HT as well.

this is sickeningly good, i have the OC batman but this is still a must buy. The BW headsculpt is unbelievable . Hot toys you raise the bar again

i sold my OC batman and the first 2 Jokers cause i was in need of cash fast.
This figure will be a great way to start up again.The headsculpt is purely AMAZING!!!

Just saw this, its cool but I'm sure the new The Dark Knight Rises Batman will be even nicer, sleeker, better sculpt, so I'll wait and not get raped on ebay.

Man I am really loving this figure. I missed out on the BB and the DX. Ive been reeeaally wanting to get an HT Bats for my collection,bad. How does this work? Do only people going to SDCC get a pop at this? Was there ever other figures that were offered at the SDCC and was eventually sold through Sideshow to the masses like us?

my initial reaction was same as you guy's: wow! cool fig! then i realized i still hate the bat suit design of the first movie, and i'm reminded again why i didnt like ht's version of it(long neck, stocky body, etc etc), and this is just the same copy.

so, i guess what i'm impressed with is that damn beautiful bale sculpt, that sculpt tricked me into thinking the whole figure is beautiful, when in fact it's just the head sculpt. and since a 3rd film is coming out, chances are good we'll be seeing this head sculpt again in the near future. i can wait.

Sideshow will definitely have this on there site to buy but you'll have to be quick but some venders will have this as well & obviously eBay but don't expect to pay the normal kind of price for one of these, it won't be cheap.
