2. Look at the Thor MMS line: just two figs initially (both main protagonists). If sales are strong, then perhaps more will follow. (If not, then no Rorschach! :wink1:

This is disappointing - Loki was the no brainer character after Thor and would have sold more than Odin.....

Every time I look at the New Goblin pictures I almost wish I could afford him. I liked Harry in the movies.

Yeah, Loki may still get his turn, though.

And Anthony Hopkins has a much more famous likeness worldwide than Tom Hiddleston. Again---sell-through must be a consideration in their business model.

Back on topic:

I just realized that the Mask/ Unmasked sculpt is actually two separate heads. (I thought at first the paintball/snowboarder mask was magnetic or sumpthin' removable.)

Who would display this with the masked headscuplt on? Isn't the Franco likeness at least 75% of the appeal of this figure?

The board was more of a selling point for me, I wasnt even really sure we were gonna get a franco headsculpt (we didnt get an extra peter parker headsculpt for spiderman). But i am planning on sometimes displaying him with the mask

That's cool to know. (though I note the "sometimes"):wink1:

Judging by your name & join date, you've been waiting for this bad boy for some time!

I might because I can just use the unmasked head on a TT with a shirt, pants, and shoes and have a normal Harry as well. Two figures for pretty cheap :dunno

Haha yeah, I actually really enjoyed spiderman 3. I know it isnt everybody's favorite, but I liked it alot and I thought Franco was awesome as Harry (besides the whole amnesia sub plot). So when i read that they were making this, I honestly thought it was too good to be true. I mean I think im the only only guy on here who genuinely had the new goblin on his wish list of figures :lol

I see. Go for the Harry cooking breakfast look, eh? :wink1:
You could pose him with his forearm pinned under a big rock. :lol

You know, I agree that Franco's Harry/Goblin Jr. character was one of the best characters in the flick. The fact that he upstaged the oft-mocked emo Pete in his own movie speaks to the script's weaknesses. The Goblin's on-again/off-again amnesia was fairly accurate to the comics, though.

This dude grows on me the more I look at it. The flared (almost bell bottom) pants look weird. Seems like ankle ties would be more practical to the suit . . . .

The black and metallic Junebug green color scheme is all killah, though!

I like this little head stand. Where can I get one?

They don't sell them, but I too think it would be a good idea since so many figures come with alternate heads and not everyone buys a full second figure to display them.

Hmm, might be worth finding someone to make some. I wonder if enough people would be interested in them to have a commission thread...

Here they are: https://cgi.ebay.com/Custom-1-6-Y-S...ltDomain_0&hash=item4cf78ec984#ht_2795wt_1002

Thanks to elvis1976 for the heads up! :yess:

Beautiful work, but hapless character.

I'll still buy it and customize Franco into his 127 days character :rotfl

Can someone translate that part about Maguire? Also - was there ever any mention of a Sandman figure or was it just Symbiote Spidey and Venom?

I'm getting him- like the character- LOVE the figure. A sleeper that will be semi popular and much sought of later on?

I have to say I love this figure and the character in the film. Next to the sand man and venom, New Goblin was awesome!

Sand man was a bit of a wuss with his side story and not really a true villian, just misunderstood, and Venom was only an after thought in the movie which really pissed me off. Niether of which could get the drop on spidey.

The only bad guy who kicked spidey's ass by himself was Harry, twice! Well he would have if spidey didn't _____ out and put up a clothes line or need an alien symbiote to get the drop on the new gobby.

The movie itself as a whole was crap, as well as the dialog, but the best parts were the fight scenes. Especially with harry because of all the trash talking. "I protected you in high school now I'm gonna kick your little ass!"

I actually made a custom gray dress shirt black pants Harry with a James Dean head to fight with my Medicom Peter Parker figure. It was a cool concept but didn't turn out as well as I had hoped. Now with this head sculpt and the forearm blades this can finally be a reality for me.

This is an absolute YES for me. As well as any other figure from this line. I'd buy them all! Symbiote Spidey, Green Goblin, Doc Ock, Sand Man, Mary Jane in the Chinese Dress. Give me a Carnage please.

I'm a huge Spidey fan and even though the movies didn't live up to my expectations, the character choices for villians was great. And any figure made from those characters will be in my collection.

Yeah, it will. There's a lot of fans of the movie (not the comics) that loved the character. I always wondered why they never made him.. Now they have. Awesome! :rock

No chance, this is the Abigail Whistler of the Spider Man line. I'm willing to bet half the people buying this figure will be bashing it into a different character and parting it out for customs.

The figure looks great. I just have no interest in buying him at all. I hated his character though out the series, he was a whiny little b***h. The only time he was bad ass he fell off his ride, became comatose, came out of coma then spent a quarter of the movie walking around smiling like a fool. Spider-Man 3 sucked.
