100% agreed. And being a primary Marcel collector till this statue I can easily say this statue is worth every dollar and worth being sold out day one with an NRD.

Well said fellas, the implentation of NRD has certainly slowed down the ordering of pieces in general I would say. So the fact this sold out in less than 24 hours is a great testament to how wonderful this piece is overall, but also what an amzing job Trevor did on the likeness.

I am so happy she sold out in less than 24 hours. We can also attribute that to the fact there was only 250 pcs. But come on! Buffy has been over for years and there's still this much love for it. It's really incredible. I truly believe Buffy would have sold out way faster had Trevor done the face sculpt (no offense to the artist) and I think Willow would have sold out way faster had she been a more 'like' representation. I think since Faith was pretty spot on, there was no reason she wouldn't sell out so fast. They just have to keep these representations as spot on as Faith. Otherwise it will be the downfall of this line. I do have a worry for a future piece, but can't say more than that.

Um, let's see...I had more thoughts on this. Grr..brain.not.functioning.

Now it's time to see how the regular edition sells. I hope they didn't make more than 500 regular editions. If they make that or less, she will be worth even more on the secondary market. Of course none of us plan to sell her. I truly believe my Buffy collectibles will be with me till I die. Probably bury that things with me.
 
You're not going to belive this. I completely forgot about Faith. I just got back home from a trip and she slipped out of mi mind completely for a few days. I missed the pre-order and I just got on the wait list. I'm about to have a nervous breakdown! I hope it's not too late and it converts into a pre-order soon :_O
 
It will convert, don't worry buddy. I have never heard of one not converting for at least a few people.
 
I think the sculpt looks like she is 40. I'm disappointed. The Hot Toys New Goblin James Franco sculpt is a GREAT sculpt, and that's the kind of thing I expected.

I was so worried this evening because my debit card got put on hold for suspected fraudulent activity like sometimes happens :)slap) and I thought it might be due to my SS order and that it'd get cancelled or something as a result - anyhoo, not had m NRD taken yet but given my order is still listed under my account details then I am gonna assume all is still good. :D

Oh yikes. Don't like the sound of that. Hopefully it gets sorted.

Now with your ssc order. If there is a problem, sideshow will give you time to sort it out. I had changed my cc due to the ps3 problems. I forgot to change the numbers with ssc, oops. So my payment for Willow didn't go through. They just send an uh-oh email and you take care of it as fast as you can. I took care of it the moment I saw the email. :D So, no worries if that happens. They are good about that kind of thing.

My nrd showed up the next day for Faith.
 
Does SSC charge you a NRD immediately to your credit card? I thought it just goes against your account, until the item is charged.
 
I'm hoping to put pics of my collection up one day. :(

I like seeing all of these pics. Just wish a few were my own.
 
I have been lazy. I was supposed to put up pics of my 12" (a couple are still boxed under my bed) but I just never got around to it. I've already posted my PF's and my Buffy on Throne. And I'll probably never post pics of my 6" because they are all carded and under the bed in the spare room. And I have nowhere for them to even be displayed.

Maybe once Willow gets here I can take pics. Because I doubt I'll do it beforehand.

I'm still really needing another Besta. But really don't want to spend more money right now. Bought way too many HP busts all at once and have more coming. It's just a really stressful time right now. :dunno
 
You know, I keep coming back to look at her. I won't buy her now, because I live on a student loan(will get very little over the summer) and even though I fear the ex will be very costly in the future, I just won't. But man, I wish I could afford her.

Still not liking her outfit, or even pose, but the head sculpt is really really good.

Was it the same artist that did the Willow sculpt? They're both really good and I think I see that they're in the same "style".

I hope we get Spike soon. He would sell out fast.
