yeah, it kind of just pulls right off after it's heated. the joint right below the lens needed extra attention because the whole bio wanted to come off at first. honestly the hardest part was putting it back and keeping it up high enough while the glue dried.

yeah, i may do that. i've been going through all my parts bins and garage looking to see if i had anything suitable. i really liked the way natrix's (think it was his) looked after he added the new lense.

To adjust the gap on the mask is necessary to polish somewhere, or just paste the piece again in the right way?

i just glued it right back together. the glue could rub the black off the lens though if you aren't careful. so i would make sure you have it where you want it before you glue it.

i dig mine. doesn't mean that i don't like my hot toys stuff. they aren't mutually exclusive. it's a great $80 toy imo. as far as posing he is in the exact same pose as my hot toys preds...standing up straight. and body-wise he doesn't feel all that much different. the softer armor bits are meh, wish they were harder but is what it is.

While I agree to a lesser extent with some of your points, this is not a real review...this is mainly bashing the figure and not pointing out hardly any good in it at all. Its very nit picky and sounds like its coming from someone who is really in all honesty a cry baby. If this figure cost $300 I could understand this review a little more ( not much more) but the fact this figure is only $70-80...gesh dude do you really expect it to be an exact scaled down version of the predator with top of the line materials all around?

I think neca scored a home run and I am certain those who purchased it 99 out of 100 people agree with me. I think $80 was a steal for this guy and if they priced it more ( no ideas neca! ) I would have probably paid more. I was a doubter before I had it in hand but now that I can sit back and really look at it...its a pretty amazing piece. Now if you want to sit there and play barbies with it....that could be a problem. Makes me wonder when you purchased this what your intentions for the piece actually was.

Hmmm... It seems to me that you ordered the $80 NECA Pred but was expecting the $1000 Sideshow Pred Maquette. This was a MID-end collectible that was meant to be as close as possible to high-end at the MID price point which is exactly what Neca managed to do. If you want high end, go pay the $1000 or more. As for me, I am SOOOOO very satisfied with my AWESOME $80 beastly Pred that looks like a $250 beastly Pred!

Gohastings.com has these all listed now for 20% off retail...even masked version! With standard shipping for me it came out to $77.70 total...not a bad deal. Gohastings is horrible with pictures so you will have to read the descriptions to be certain you are ordering the right one.
