He's looking good! Love the carrot (strawberry?) costume. Congrats again and welcome back!

Quick update - Dax has broken 10 pounds! He's now a little over 3 months 'actual' age and 1 month 'adjusted' (from the time he was originally due). He's 'unique' as my mom so kindly puts it - in that he's super high-maintenance! I'm trying to get back into the swing of working part-time, but it's a little difficult with a screamer... which is why I'm posting this so late, while his dad takes his turn with him :lol

I know absolutely nothing about raising a baby, but I was talking to a couple of my friends who recently had a kid. We got on the conversation of colicky (sp?) babies and I asked what caused that. What they told me was that it can be caused by the baby's diet, and gas that builds up and becomes painful before the baby burps/farts it out. Remove the stuff giving the baby gas, less build-up. Their baby is still breast feeding and my friend said that when she would eat any foods like onions (even just a little on a sandwich), garlic, etc. that the baby would get really gassy and fart alot. There were a few other foods mentioned, but can't think of them now.

I'm sure there are a bunch of other reasons as to why some babies scream alot, and you've probably looked into them already.

Cute kid BTW. Congratulations.

hes awesome dusty..................& you better be playing a red hot chili peppers album everytime you dress that kid in that suit or it would just seem too ridiculous...........................:lol

thanks again for all the support and love... Freaks are awesome! Hopefully many of you will be able to meet dax at comic-con 2009 :banana and yeah, maybe dragon*con too... That con is just too much fun, and tons of eye-candy for kids to keep them busy gawking :lol

anyway, he finally smiled a little! Attached are a couple of my favorite photos. Missed you guys!

awesome pics dusty!!!!!!!!!! :d welcome back!!!!!!!!!! :d

Yes he is ADORABLE... such a cutie pie. Even though Nathan and Dax are three days apart mine looks like a giant. I am sooooo happy to hear that Dax is over 10 pounds now. He will be a strong healthy boy.

Aww, he is adorable. Glad he is growing and healthy. Congrats again and welcome back.

Alright! :fireworks Great pics Dusty, my second child was "unique" too; that's why we love him less.

:lol

Shamelessly necroposting:

Picture 1: You know you are a parent to an infant when you are passed out at Midnight on New Year's Eve - ha!
Picture 2: Relaxing with Dad after Christmas dinner
Picture 3: Checking out his muscles in the mirror
Picture 4: First trip to Disneyland (ignore the 'lack of sleep' bags under my eyes please)... some people may be shocked that we brought a preemie to Disneyland in the middle of cold and flu season, but we didn't go inside at all or let strangers breathe on him, just stayed outside and Dax loved all the sights and sounds! ... and mom got her Disneyland churro and jalepeno-cheese-pretzel fix :lol
