Is Ghost Rider an underrated movie or is it just me?

I feel that way about Daredevil. But don't watch the Theatrical version watch the directors cut. I have not seen Ghost Rider because of the reviews, but I guess I should check it and make my own mind up

The director's cut of DD really that big of an improvement? I've read several different sources which state it makes the movie better. I haven't dropped the cash to watch it.

GR is ok, I didn't think it was the worst comic adaption but not underrated either.

Of the comic movies I've seen (some like DD and Elektra I had zero interest in) its at the bottom. I wasn't absolutely horrendous, but overall was still a turd.

I still think Spiderman 3 was worse... but it could be that it fell from so much further.

Movie should have been called "Johnny Blaze" cause he was the only interesting part of the movie. All the GR segments sucked. All the showdowns with each of the bad guys were over in 3 seconds and the battle with emo at the end was weak.

Tried watching it twice. Fell asleep once and the second time I got bored and turned it off. :lol

I watched it once and wouldn't bother with it again. I do think if I didn't like Cage (mostly from his earlier goofy stuff) I wouldn't have even bothered with this film.

It did in fact suck, sucked like Daredevil it did.

It's almost a different movie than the theatrical version. Entire subplots are restored, and one of the cheesier moments has a different, more somber outcome. I think it takes it from being forgettable popcorn fare to being on par with some of the better Marvel flicks like Blade or X-Men.

DD was awful even more so then Ghost Rider . I do have to disagree though about unbreakable being worse. I think that the acting alone was soooo much better that unbreakable out shined ght rider. At least we could connect with the characters on some level. It rare that they turn comicbook characters into great movies.

You guys are all spoiled brats that don't deserve this amazing time we live in . . .

People constantly knock Daredevil, Fantastic Four, Ghost Rider and Punisher War Zone and I just don't get it . . . I had a good time watching all of them . . .

I liked the first Hulk movie . . but I have to admit that I really love the new Incredible Hulk remake . . .

Most old school comic movies are terrible, really there is no comparison. Kids especially have a really good time watching these movies . . .

Let me help you guys with something here . . 99% of the time the book is better than the movie . . whether you are talking about a novel or a comic book, there are some things that just won't translate . . .

I hereby put you all on the naughty list . . . so there . . . :whip

I didn't think GR was that bad....it definitely wasn't great.....but was kinda entertaining. I'm a huge Sam Elliot fan - I'll watch anything he's in. :drool :D
I think the most disappointing thing was the fights with the villains, like others have said, they were way, way too short.

Definitely the best thing that came out of it was the maquettes Sideshow made. The Old Western one is one of my favorites in my collection. :rock

Really disliked Ghost Rider. It was just very cheesy. If it had taken itself a bit more seriously (i know, pretty hard when you have a guy who turns into a flaming skull) - i would have liked it more. Sam Elliot was awesome, although he was underused. best scene was the short scene of him and Cage riding together on horse and bike.

Daredevil on the other hand, I really loved - but you have to see the Director's cut. Great movie.

Loved the first Hulk, more so than the new one (a much deeper film)

Agree on that scene. Would be kewl to see a movie based on Elliots Ghost Rider.
