Question btw - so is the coin a mould in, into the hand, or seperate? can anyone tell?

I'm sure it's separate--they've done stuff that small before separately.

Sigh.............another great figure.

HT must visit these board listen to us ohhh and ahhh over their sculpts. Then laugh their a$$ off when they crush our spirits announcing the production date 6 mos from the date of the press release B@st@rds :D

Yeah, but at least they release on time--I love Sideshow, but we've had figures get delayed almost 6 months longer than their first release date and that's harsh.

awesome sculpt , awesome paint apps... on the left.
The burned side needs a little more detail ! :rock
This seriously looks bad ass though. :rock:rock

I really really like this figure, everything's perfect, except one thing.

The burned side needs a bit of work, I could go on about the details that they left out, and not just that, it's the paint, way too black.
But more importantly than that, it needs more of a transition between burned faces, it just kinda happens on the head, theres plenty of bubbled flesh inbetween in the movie.
The hairline shouldnt be so abrupt aswell, there's more greyish burned flesh before the hair starts.

Once more i'll post the pic for comparisons.

So now Hot toys will do their thing and rework the head, just a bit, and a better burned paintjob, and i will be one happy camper

Sculpt is amazing! Like many have said, paint needs some work on the burnt side. Reds and flesh are needed bad to really make this shine. But holy crap is this figure going to rule. Next spring seems way too far off.

I don't think this hate for the MEDICOM figure is warranted. It looks good. Just as the Hot Toys one does.

I may have to double dip on this one. That regular Harvey Dent sculpt really deserves to be displayed. Don't want to spend the money but when will we ever get a Two-Face figure this nice ever again? Definitive comes to mind.

And I'm contemplating this as well, that Eckhart head is too damn good to stay in the box.

No one hates Medicom's figure in here, but I think the general consensus here is that folks want a realistic looking figure, and Medicom's figure, while nicely done, has a cartoonish look to it, doesn't quite have the photo-realism HT figures have lately.

So far, Medicom's paint apps on the damaged face trump HT, I truly hope HT improves their apps on their head before production, otherwise they waste an opportunity with a fabulous sculpt.

Wookster...you have HT connections...can you pass the word to them regarding the better paints on the burnt-side of Two-Face?

Well according to many artists working for HT they lurk in these threads as well so I'm sure they already know...:lol

Can't we at least wait until we get good pics before we worry too much about the paint details? Besides, this is HOT TOYS... they almost always perfect things along the way.

It's not just the Paint, it needs a sculpting overhaul.
