I never installed the rod on my HT batmobile. There’s a groove cut in the hood that the front of the canopy hooks into. If you just lift the back of the canopy a bit, it slides along the grooved track. Never had an issue.

The only time the full bar is there is when you can see the whole canopy move. When it's a closeup shot, it's probably some guys manually sliding it.

Movie Magic.

Clever, how they spliced that edit. In the wide shot, the lighting obscures the rod and then they cut to the closeup and the rod is gone. All these years, I thought the rod did not exist.

So is the rod technically Batmobile 89 "canon" (or not)? 🤔

Thank you for posting these two shots from the movie.

Thanks for the tip.

I bought the Batmobile so long ago, can't even recall installing the rod myself. :lol Always assumed it was pre-installed.

I would never sell my '89 Batmobile unless I could get ONE MILLION DOLLARS for it.

Placed an order for a payment plan a week ago, but it nearly took that same amount of time for the SEPA / Debit payment plan to go through. I do wonder if I should have done this through my bank instead of using the SEPA company Jazzinc suggested (Stripe). Not sure if Stripe will add any additional charges that I wouldn't get doing through my bank directly.

Also, it feels a bit unnerving to pay in U$D instead of Euro, when both the company and the cient are located in Europe. Has anyone been able to get that changed? Seems like there could be currency transaction taxes, but I haven't noticed any so far.

Just preordered mine. Really wanted it but going back and forth on pulling the trigger and I'd kick myself if I missed out....Jazz Inc's new photos on the site tipped me over the edge.
Right, what to sell to help pay for it. Maybe an Aliens Smart Gun or other figures....

This looks phenomenal! I remember seeing the '89 Batmobile at World of Wheels when I was just a lad, got more attention out of me than the Lamborghini and Ferrari on display. Guess I'll need to break out my old Richman's Toys RC Batmobile and display them together. My last payment is slated for April but I'm on the second batch shipment schedule, very excited for this to arrive.

On certain angles, looks like the real car shot in studio.

My very very little complain would be the color of the lights a little bit too orange even if I know it’s accurate.

They often appear a little bit more yellow due to the fact the car was shot at nighttime.

Congrats Joost, it’s awesome!👏

You are correct. The lenses were clear and then painted yellow on the inside.

Waiting for the ridiculous video that Danoby2 will make trying to gaslight people into thinking this is a poorly made product.

With each Batmobile Joost and his crew keep raising the bar.

I can’t wait to get mine, and I look forward to seeing what vehicle or diorama tackles next. Personally I’m hoping for KITT or some Batcave pieces.
