Eh. $1700 is the rumor for the two-pack, I thought? I don’t know. I guess I’m not getting the sticker shock many are because I feel like InArt kind of set the stage for the advent of the $1,000+ two-pack. Hell, Hot Toys is charging about $500 for their rooted option that, thus far, ain’t exactly inspiring confidence. These things have gone from a weirdly niche, slightly expensive/slightly dumb hobby to an obscene luxury expenditure that it’s a wonder hasn’t priced out 90% of collectors.

The way I see it, anything over $250 should have us reaching for our ankles and grabbing the Crisco, so, at this point, nothing shocks me anymore. People weren’t just okay with $1K for a die-cast jail cell and some rooted hair, they called it “figure of the year.” I don’t see what changed between then and now.

I never thought I'd say this, but statues are making more and more sense by the year.

Usually the day before the PO goes live they will release full photos and full reveal video where they talk about the process and show/expand on the behind the scene stuff that is shown in the teasers. So we should get them on Thursday

So with type C being only available on JND that means US customers will get charged custom fees after delivery is that correct? Seems to be what I’ve heard ordering directly.

Most likely given that type C is said to be close to $2k. I think the US limit for no customs fees is something like $1600. This is definitely something I didn’t consider when ordering the two Superman statues since it’s not something we in the US tend to have to deal with when ordering overseas

So if those of us in the US order option C we’re looking at $1,700 + $2-300 shipping + custom fees? That’ll probably bring it up to around $2,200+ I’m guessing? Safe to say JND marks the price accurately for customs?
