Yep, those are the numbers that were communicated. I don't think we ever got any for The Batman or Aragorn. I know Kit told me for Harry Potter, at least the first few days to a week, the numbers had been similar to Gandalf. Not sure where he will ultimately will land with orders closing soon if they haven't already.
Inarts reaction in one of the recent youtube video maybe from June suggested for me that Aragorn has to be around what Gandalf achieved in terms of PO.

Now I dont know what is the most loved/liked/followed line in China, but I was genuinely suprised that they went for Pennywise instead of any HP/LOTR/DC/Dune character. I would think any one of these would have sold better.

Well inart itself is worth to have and in terms of Hot Toys the same level.
So whether you take the hot toys or inart, you will see few major differences between the two.

The advantage from Inart is that they have 2 figures + police station version with diorama, and hot toys no longer comes with that unfortunately.

You also paid more for the two figures and the diorama though. If the Hot Toys release is $600 then it’s essentially half the price of the InArt two pack. Personally I like that we get the option to buy a single figure.

A shame because an updated laughing sculpt + table/chair would have made this an overall more impressive and enticing offering even for those who ordered the INART version.

I don't care about shoving an awkward 1/6 tongue into the mouth of this sculpt. Use the laughing sculpt that already has all work done for them by ambrosias and just offer a diecast table/chair if you REALLY wanted to be fancy for no reason with it all.

I didn’t realize that InArts run was so large. So if we averaged out the unit cost to $400 (which is probably low), 10,000 figures comes out to $4 million in sales. Of course that’s going to get HT attention. That’s $4 million in lost revenue. HT is also notorious for stepping on competitor’s air hoses. So even though they don’t have the LotR or Harry Potter licenses, they may get pretty aggressive with the heavy hitters in their DC line. I wouldn’t be surprised to see them announce an Artisan Superman to undercut IA’s preorders. It’s too bad Marvel and Star Wars don’t award at least two 1/6 licenses.

Yeah, whilst this is cool and all to have 2 great 1/6 heath joker options on the market now when all we used to have was this..

It definitely does seem like hot toys are trying to crush the competition while they're at it. Reading up on what happened to enterbay and how hot toys folded them, i hope inart continue to advance and out do hot toys. Competition means hot toys put in more work as opposed to the complacency they've had for years. I mean look at the stuff they released this year, some of it still isn't good and still lazy hot toys (referring to the back to the future releases and ofc batman begins) and thanks to inart we hopefully won't see that laziness from hot toys again, unless they fold inart and give us JOKOR 4.0

I doubt InArt wants to volley back, but it would be interesting if they offered another version of Joker -- like a Nurse Joker... or Nurse and Bank Robber 2-pack.

I do wonder how much of the market is left for HT on this very common iteration of the Joker at the new price point. It's Joker, so it will sell, but just how well is curious.

Iron Man used to be HT's cash cow, but even their latest offering has only 2 pages of interest. That would have been unheard of only a year ago.

In the meantime, it seems Anakin is the real scene stealer. The PT's time has come. Best thing HT can do is start making hairy versions of all the Star Wars heroes before InArt gets the "upscale" part of it.

I think heaths joker will always sell. No one will ever truly make the perfect joker, someome always will have problems with it. It's just something no one ever gets 100% and whilst most are satisfied with good enough, or even great. There will still be people willing to keep going until they get the perfect figure. And yeah please a nurse joker, something different. I'd like to see either company tackle that. Or better yet...no more jokers lol. Make something else.

I guess that's how I feel. Back in the day a new Joker would come out and I'd feel the need to upgrade, but I don't here. And I DO like this release. I'd be down for a new Bank Robber Joker, but I ain't buying a new 2 pack with a diorama. It'd be cool just to have a single figure with the rooted hair. Who knows how much it would cost though.

Plus the fact the rooted is limited to 4000 is just gonna piss people off when the final production comes out and if it comes out good it's gonna be as much as the 2 pack inart to get it. Some of us just won't get this figure because it's been locked behind 4000 units. Most international markets locked out unless you wanna pay the high shipping from sideshow. I don't feel the need to upgrade...why double dip? I've got my joker and now I'll get my sam raimi spider-man display. 1 verison of each actor playing a character is fine for me

I don't think the hair on the HT final product will look good because it doesn't look great on the current prototype. In fact, the HT prototype is not not quite as good as the InArt final product.
Yeah. I've been very critical of Hot Toys' choice of material they use for hair for years. Now that IA made a mass produced figure with rooted hair that looked good & shipped well they've decided to up their game - which is good! But I'll wait and see. Either way I love that there is actual competition now. Unlike when HT curb stomped Enterbay immediately back in the day.

Also, I've bought so many of these Ledger Jokers I may be burnt out. 😆
However, if they made a banger of a Nicholson dolly, I'd probably buy. I'm really looking forward to that 3rd party Mars figure. 😆

The more pics I see of the sculpted hair HT the more I like it. Better proportions than the bobble headed IA too plus the hand selection is much better and no chance of a faulty PERS system like my IA. I’ll be making the trade.

The only thing that concerns me is HT’s coat material and whether or not they’ll be able to match IA’s exceptional tailoring.
