Looking at the preview images I could tell this one wasn't great but seeing it in hand it seems like it's worse (headsculpt wise). The BD one on the other hand looked at lot better in the preview pics and in hand so hoping it's at least passible.

Only ordered based on Present Toys Indy in hand images as that sculpt looked quite decent...let’s he see what happens.

The BD looks better because none of that is present toys. The head is a shrunken down recast of Enterbays and the body and clothing are all Hot toys. I seriously doubt the final product will look that good.

Figure looks great but the head. I found the Hot TOys head lacks a jaw. The PT one seems to not do the hair that well and face is a little fat, rather than chiseled.

It's like they took an older Arnie's face. Still with the glasses on, it's decent, but a 3rd party head might be better. I have tons thankfully.

I do wish someone would do a smiling Arnie head.

I hope not but we'll have to see. Hopefully the pics get released soon.

On the other hand, did two holes in the bandolier and now its sitting attached to the minigun so that the holes can settle in.

Well, the figure is definitely not perfect. The hs is bad, minigun needs to have the u ring below the barrels removed to be movie accurate (even Neca did it right!), the missing holes for the bandolier attachment to the minigun, the bandolier should be longer (not that it will cost them a lot to have done it), grenades in the belt are undersized. However, this was EUR190 with shipping to the Netherlands. For that price there is no other figure that can beat it!!!

I am quite happy with the purchase and glad to finally have a 1/6th Terminator 2 figure in my collection.

I might be in the minority here but even though this is basically true I wouldn't feel comfortable dropping 200 bucks on an overall mediocre unlicensed 3rd party figure. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have a few more Arnies in my collection - T2, Predator, Commando - besides my BD T-800 from T1. But if we don't get neither far supirior official releases (InArt/HT) nor nearly flawless 3rd party figures (Mars Toys Joker or LIMToys RDR quality) I'm happy to let it go and spend that 200 elsewhere, there's enough stuff around.

To each their own though. If you're happy with it, that's all that matters!

Yeah, I think this is why the old HT Terminator Arnie figs hold their values, because nothing has really come out since their release thats any better, plus of course the HT figs are licenced.

Im not sure if Terminator stuff is now considered too niche for anyone like HT to revisit. Im assuming most Terminator fans are getting beyond middle age now, of course you will get a drip of younger fans who come along and find their dads DVD collection but not enough I feel to warrant a real resurgence in interest.

Personally at this stage if I was just getting into collecting I might try and hunt out an older HT Terminator figure on the aftermarket, an oldie but a goodie phase comes to mind.

I may be proved wrong but I just dont see a major company splashing the cash on The Terminator licence and releasing top end figs.

Received mine from OSK in perfect shape as always (y)
I'm clearly happy with this T-800, for 180€ there is nothing better and the clothes are really good quality and well fitted.
I'll see if I change the HS, but the HT DX10 has aged too so I'll probably look for another one

That looks good for me, I was debating just getting the original but seems almost impossible to find one without damage. I bet from a distance this one wont look bad at all, at least for me.

Just curious, but what damages are we talking about? Cause the DX10 is all real leather, the only thing that could be damaged are really the pleather belts
