INART- "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring" Aragorn 1/6 collectible action figure complete information released:
Aragorn played by Viggo Mortensen is one of the most classic Middle-earth characters and is also synonymous with perfection. He has always been loyal and courageous, calm and intelligent, and has become a very important member of the Fellowship of the Ring team. As a ranger, Aragorn has always been mysterious. Compared with Gandalf's central image throughout, Aragorn has always been the leader of the war story line. He followed Frodo on his adventures and protected the Lord of the Rings from being taken by the Ring Spirits.

INART this time brings the classic ranger image of Aragorn in "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring". After nearly three months of trimming and elaborate production, I finally meet you.

I really want the 3 Hunters... and Frodo to go with Gandalf.

If InArt ends with Gimli and Frodo, I would be more then happy.
That's the bare minimum for me as well. But damn I would buy the full Fellowship if they offered it. These films deserve quality figures of this level of the whole Fellowship at least!

Galadriel, Arwen, Eowyn, on well proportioned bodies with top tier sculpts would be incredible.

Imagine an accurate Eowyn in her Dernhelm attire, that would be something.

Yeah, I think InArt prices for Hobbits will be challenging... so for me I'd only be willing to pay that once, for Frodo. No way I'd pay that for Merry, Pippin or even Samwise. I wouldn't pay that for Boromir either. So cutting those 4 immediately saves me nearly $2,000. :lol

When InArt gets Star Wars -- and God help us all -- that's when I will become the "original Star Wars only" guy and stick to just ANH characters. Just the 7 heroes alone is going to be at least $3,500... add another $2,000 for Vader, Tarkin and one trooper. $500+ a pop will definitely test your devotion to Star Wars.

Hologram AI

Thanks for HD images :love :1-1:
He is so beautiful I can't stop watching. Great stock photos and good lighting. Sculpted hair looks insane, it is obvious they sculpted few layers and put them together, that's why it has such a realistic volume.
Can't wait to put Geralt and Aragorn back to back and kick some ass.

P.S. I wish they did Geralt, but probably never gonna happen.:pray::blissy:medic

@Asta can you copy this into the first post of the thread?

Ordered the sculpted hair version, can’t get over how good it looks. I assume they will offer the same options for Legolas?

All the custom rooted Legolas’s that I’ve seen, they always end up looking kinda puffy on the back. I suppose it’s hard to get that tight tied back hair look in 1/6 scale!

Apart from ROTK versions of Aragorn and Gandalf, which I'm sure will happen in the near future, the only other LOTR figure I'd like to see tackled would be Sauron. It'd probably be outside of my price range, but I wonder what it'd look like, or if it'd even be feasible.

He'd look stunning though.

:lol

Why don't you just kill me and be done with it? I don't want to think about the prospect of IA getting SW and Marvel while I'm finishing up my MCU HT collection with the X-Men. But were such a thing to happen, I'd stick with a Top 10, and that's me being generous. Vader, ROTS Anakin/Obi-Wan/Palpatine, maybe Thrawn. Who knows what DisneyWars will have added to the lore by then, but I'd draw the line there. Unless they do KOTOR stuff... MCU's trickier. A GOAT Tobey-Man (still haven't bought one, the plastic hands are a deal breaker for me) and MkIII are a given. And probably rooted versions of Doctor Strange, maybe Loki, Manletmor with an updated costume, and of course whatever DOOM they make. Maybe one or two more. But if I have 2-3 year old HT figures by then, I don't think I'd update anything bar my absolute favourites. TBH I wish this was my HT list too, but I've got to complete my teams...

On the subject of money and choice, I had the EXO-6 TWOK Kirk and Khan on my list since last year. I sat down and looked at a hypothetical plan for 2023, based on announcements from IA and upcoming MCU/SW movies/shows from which HT will surely make some figures. It was Hell. Then I realised that since I can't order E6 stuff through Kit, I'd end up paying 400€ for each of them, and without installments. Needless to say, I cut them out. I'm not paying IA prices/above HT, for a product that doesn't compare, no matter the character. Maybe after the guy making Z-Listers is done, IA will take over Trek and give us some high end core characters. Anyway, point is, at this point, I'd rather spend more on less as long as they're worth it. I can't be spending the same amount on an absolute favourite and also some D-Lister bought only to fill out space. I'm not collecting Hasbro Legends.

None of the Star Wars 7 have ever been done right -- not by Hot Toys either. Leia's dress? Luke's farmboy boots and incorrect pants color? Han's crappy boots? Ben's see-thru kimono?

Like with everything else, if you really look, there's tons of room for improvement on almost every HT figure.
