I only just noticed that they got his lip scar/mustache correct. Great attention to detail.

InArt sculpted stubble/facial hair is just next level. HT beards etc. always look super fake.

Because anyone questioning it gets criticised into the ground, so why bother anymore? I actually preordered it, but I still have valid criticisms towards it but this particular forum isn’t the right place for that it seems.
There is always one guy who complains while everyone else is happy. If you are that guy and nobody's sharing your opinion, it's okay to be quiet and let ppl be happy.

P.S. Based on your previous comments Idk where this attitude came from and why are u even there if you think this isn't a right place for you. Makes no sense. This is a very chill and supportive forum with passionate adult fans.
Also there is a big difference between a honest criticism and being toxic :)

P.SS. see you reacted with a laughing emoji. Tells lot lol Nobody cares bro.

Ha, every time I type ‘rooted head’ I pray some pedant won’t wiggle their finger and correct me. A new an accurate term would be nice but ‘glued hair’ just sounds so cheap and ugly for describing what is typically high quality work.

Could we say ‘Bonded’ or ‘Pasted’ hair… Nothing seems like it will be as catchy and elegant as ‘Rooted.’

Just say 'real hair'.

Rooted hair is nylon, glued-in hair is usually yak hair, or some other type of hair that's been sourced from an animal, so it's still real hair.

For my money, "rooted" doesn't signify elegance, it's basic and simple, and implies low quality.

You of all people.

I know time is running out on rooted hair but I still don’t know which one to order. Driving me crazy. I’ve told myself it would come down to cost but damn that rooted Aragorn is insane!
Yeah, I hear you that’s a tough predicament.

Maybe think about it this way, if you get the sculpted version now, do you think you will look at it 5 years from now and be satisfied or do you think you will wish you had spent the extra money on the rooted version?

Personally, I went with the sculpted version of the Joker and would be happy with the sculpted version of this Aragorn, but it sort of sounds like you prefer the rooted version (who could blame you).

I guess my point is that most of us plan on keeping these collectibles for quite some time, so I think over time the price differences between different versions become negligible and it is probably best to choose the version that you want the most …of course unless it would cause undue financial duress now

I've used "faux hair" for some time. "Molded" hair for the regular version. I'll stick to that until someone comes up with a better option. :lecture

Not really. I've criticized the Joker in that thread a fair amount because I don't find it as incredible as other people, and I really do hope Batman, this etc. release closer to the prototype than Joker did - I just rewatched the reveal video and the proportions are so much better.

Of course, you open a dialogue like that you might get some back that can make you think a bit more or understand another point of view. In no way would I say anyone is shooting you down.

I just read, and as others have pointed out, you think the price isn't that great for what you get, the majority have disagreed with you - you didn't get the support you wanted in voicing your opinion. That doesn't mean other people are wrong for having that discourse going against your views, also doesn't make you wrong for thinking it.

I couldn't escape my criticisms of Joker so I cancelled my order. I don't want to get to the point where I'm shouting blue in my face to people that have already heard me and don't want to hear me anymore, there comes a time when people know what you're saying, either agree or disagree and then you're just pissing on their parade.

No offense, but you're just coming across a tiny bit like a cat with its tail between its legs.

OHHHHHHH THAT IS UNREAL!!!!!!!! Can you believe it?!?!? Can you believe this Aragorn they're producing?!?!? Oh it is looking SENSATIONAL!!! And again, it feels almost unreal!! :thud::thud::thud::thud::panic::panic::panic::panic:

Mannnnn, mannn ohh mannnnn, Aragron is probabaly my most favorite in the LOTR Trilogy, and this, THIS figure is just looking oh so phenomenal. I'm so heavily, heavily leaning on this InArt Aragron to represent LOTR in my collection.. :D

There's a lot of iconic characters for sure, but for me Aragorn's journey from Ranger to King is the most interesting. He'll do nicely as my 1 character to represent them all.

If I were to expand it'd likely be Gimli and Legolas though. They'd make a nice trio, the 3 hunters.

Yeah same! I'll be more than happy to have Aragorn representing all of LOTR!

Which is the best oversea supplier for Canada? Toyswonderland?
OneSixthKit hands down
I got a package from him super fast
Label created on Christmas day and left China on the 31st of December, landed in Canada the next day and delivered on January 4th. $0 import fees and shipping was included so nothing extra.

I generally lean towards rooted hair, especially for characters like Aragorn. But the image of him holding his pipe with crossed arms looks so freakin’ good its made me reconsider.

They really captured how he holds himself. Gotta give props to inarts posing/photography team.
