Has that weird Hot Toys convention flat lighting look but yeah the sculpt looks weak there, mainly the eyes. Digging everything else. Will wait for better photos before fully judging

Yea i’m probably going to get jumped for this and I’m sure it will look great in the end but that looks horrible.

Agreed, not keen on that sculpt at all based on that. Outfit looks good though. Hope they can get it sorted out I would love a really good 1/6 scale Aragorn that actually looks like the actor in my collection.

I think it's a puffy hair yall, and hair isn't fully attached to the head,there is a huge gap between hair and head, so it adds up volume. While he doesn't look 100% Viggo I think he looks still very good as is. Rooted for sure gonna have more sharp likeness.

It's the hair + eyes. I think the rest of the sculpt is pretty damn good but the other two aspects of it are throwing the likeness off. Curious to see the rooted hair version on this sculpt.

I think everyone is on the same page here -- sculpt isn't there yet. Although as we get better pictures in, it does start to look better. Just not too much like Viggo yet.

The outfit looks great. I feel like this is always Aragorn's first standard outfit that all companies do so it does become too easy to start comparing bits to what many already have.

Glad he come with the gauntlets.

Glad to finally see him. The sculpt needs work but the sculpted hair looks great I'm tempted to get that but I'll probably definitely get the rooted when he goes up for preorder.

I wouldn't say it looks horrible. It's probably the best likeness that I've seen at any scale. Might be that the eyes and brow off just enough to throw it off overall. I think the mouth and chin are pretty spot on.

So this is both a FOTR and TTT Aragorn I guess.

Price will really be a determining factor in this (I'm sure that's the same for everyone) - it's not $500 good. Unless I suppose they throw every accessory imaginable in.

Work on the eyes and it might be perfect. The hair is pretty damn good I must say. I am glad this is still WIP prototype.
