I don't know much about or really care about Danoby, but seeing him put a beer on the table with the prototype was pretty disrespectful.

You don't like it whatever, but guess what you accepted the invite. Show some damn class. Either he was doing it intentionally and he's a dick head or he didn't think anything of it and he's a dull dick head.
Dudes a class A *********.

It's funny that we have been asking for an improvement on our figures and seems that it's wrong now to say that there is a big fail with the body/head proportions because they are trying. Friends, this figure costs 1k for the double pack. If with the first and more important figure for INART we let happen this, what do you think it's going to happen in 1 year or 5? Hot Toys. 2.0

I thinks it's a big mistake that the heads are not in proportion. I didn't paid 1k for two expensive funko pops, i paid 1k for the next generation in figures. Apart from that body seems to thin in some parts like legs and arms. And coat could be a lot better.

Inart should give us some explanations about this, be clear about if something is prototype or final production and be sincerely about Aragorn. It's not the first time that in social media they make wrong with the name's. That's not serious.

To be honest, i thought i would have another feeling after this weeknd but it has been like an ice water bucket. We should be super excited with the Joker figure and it's not the case.

You all do know actual spaceships and houses are much more complex than any action figure right? Like those are not like comparisons at all.

It only takes one person screwing up in one minor way for a space shuttle launch to go wrong or a pipe to burst.

To get the size of a toy’s head wrong at this price requires multiple people to look at it and go “good enough”.
Wait a single PVC pipe is more complex than that Inart 1/6 figure?

A single PVC pipe?

Do tell lol

You just know HT are gonna pull out all the stops now on a Joker 3.0. to piss on Inart's picnic. :exactly:

To be fair, it's a $1000 for two figures, metal accessories, two display bases and diorama, plus the DC licensing...so all things considered, I can see it. Still crazy, but not that unreasonable.

I'll say this, I'm not blown away by the figure in the video. It looks good in the dynamic poses, but there's something off about the proportions or clothing. Not sure.

Is this supposed to mean something or you just keep pictures of Justin in your computer?

That was him at the Vegas event from another thread.

I want a 1/6 Juston doll of him.

DiFabio being coy but it was him that took the picture. 🤣

Inart is probably regretting having him do the video review and inviting Danoby. Or a conspiracy theory, they really did intend to supply Justin a Jokor and Botmon to give them an "excuse" to address the issues when in fact they really couldn't meet the 4th Q 2022 deadline for Joker.

I maybe in the minority here, but I don't see Heath in these headsculpts. Its a great set for sure but just my opinion, the likeness is off.
I think the likeness is there, but I've definitely seen customs (like those ones by Adam Gu) that came a whole lot closer.

And the recent Queen 1/4 statue did it a lot better as well. I think they were aiming for just a shrunk down version of that, but it seems to have gotten a bit distorted along the way.

Watching the review and some of the footage from the live event the figures do look pretty good but something about the whole thing feels off, when I was watching some of the live stream footage I could've sworn Justin said those were prototypes on display and sure enough he claims to be reviewing every prototype, supposedly he had even filmed the now recalled Aragorn protoype for apparently being damaged beyong recognition in transit, an excuse I don't buy, but then in their own chinese group InArt said Justin got it wrong and he's indeed reviewing the final product.

Now I don't like to throw accusations around but that sure as hell looks like a prototype to me, main reason is what everyone has been complaining about, the head sculpts. Head sculpts during prototype development have to be bigger so when they shrink down during the molding and casting process they will be the right size, for promotional pictures heads are always downsized with photoshop but in the review video they look like any prototype I've seen, massive and out of scale.

Looking at their other figures on display I still don't think they've completely killed all competition like many are saying, the likeness on the heath sculpts seems to be lacking a bit in Justin's review especially around the eyes and their paints app certainly aren't up to par with the highest offerings in this industry but the rooted hair looked pretty good tho which is what people are paying for.

I'm not really questioning how their products will turn out tho I'm questioning their transparency and dishonest behaviour, now they're being sponsored by Justin AND Toys Wonderland both of which have been under heavy scrutiny for their shady practices, I speak from personal expirience that I do not trust Toys Wonderland and if InArt researched the market as well as they claim to have had then they would know what a bizarre and dangerous move it is to be directly associated with them.

Totally agree! 100% :clap

I was wondering the same thing, so its good to hear this from someone who knows. I wonder why InArt allows so much miss communication?

Unfornately Toyswonderland isn't going anywhere, as much as a lot of us would like them to. Just look at the FF7 Remake thread. You have a constant flow of new people coming in talking about how they bought figures from TW only to find out later on that they're not quite up to par as other retailers.

This is the same thing that you see over in FB groups where people are constantly either shilling for the company or seeing folks who run into trouble with them.

To the general audience and most likely to Inart, they probably just look like a big huge 1/6 reputable figure retailer. After all, you have Justin over here hardcore shilling for them on the daily. Most people don't know about Toyswonderland's ****** practices.

Update - The figure in Justin's review is a production piece.
What if that’s just maximum effort for the first batch? Looks like the honeymoon period with IA is officially over from the tone in here.
The figure looks amazing, but £1000.00 is just crazy money!
$1,000 USD including shipping. £840 ish at the time it was solicited.

Ha that is quite the conspiracy. Imagine sinking all that time and effort into the hundred or so Jokers shown in that video only to realise either the heads need to be scrapped, shrunk down, then rehaired and repainted to fit the bodies or the bodies, hands and all clothing and accessories need to be scrapped and remade slightly larger to match the scale of the heads…

Or they just release with the obvious flaw and risk harming their reputation and losing the faith of the community by stumbling at the first hurdle.

It’s a lose lose lose scenario but at least fixing any errors would ultimately benefit them in the long run and it’ll just have to be one of those costly errors they hopefully learn to avoid with future releases- like not using knock off replica weapons as reference material. I’ll never get over than insult to incompetence.

The realism is amazing but the likeness could be improved.

But it’s been that way since the proto reveal.

I think the realism and ‘next level’ to surpass HT blinkered a lot of people on likeness.
