What makes you so sure you won’t want to get rid of it again like last time?

Think about what made you sell it off in the first place.
Yeah I sold the Tumbler for financial reasons a good while back. Things are pretty stable now more than they ever been. I think I have more stuff now than I ever have in my collecting career. o_O:LOL:

I think even if a company came out with something nicer, I would still never part with most of my stuff now. This stuff just doesn't sell as well as it use to anyway. I use to give people good prices that I sell to and just make my money back barely.

Just go the Pod today. (y)

Said this on the Begins version of the thread too, but it looks like they made the rear tires accurate, fixed the silver rim on the rear wheels, and MAYBE the interior is cleaned up now. I know in my copy it's pretty easy to see the messy wires under the canopy and the hot glue around the windows. It looks like the wires are cleaner and I couldn't see any hot glue.

I ordered one of these to keep boxed up since I like my first one so much but these upgrades make me think maybe I'll just display the new one and sell my old one... Or smash it up and create a Bat-pod origin diorama complete with old man eating a Blimpie in the corner.

That’s exactly what I think about anytime I consider rebuying a figure I once sold off. More often than not, I end up not rebuying. And the times I do, I contemplate selling it again lol
If lack of money and space is not a problem that concerns you and if you are a Batman fan then owning this is not only a must it’s a no brainer.
In the past, I’ve never been into vehicles all the much and I definitely don’t currently have the space for this, but there’s something about both this and the bat pod that I would love owning. I love the displays I’ve seen ppl have for 1/6 vehicles. I do worry about fragility/durability and longevity though. Can’t just replace those tires if they start cracking and breaking down.

If it makes you feel better my second owner OG Tumblers tires are completely like new.

Surprised they updated anything on this even if it's just black paint.

Can we hope for the Begins figure?

I like Batman, I’m just not a fan of the tumbler design. I’d rather have a Keatonmobile, should they ever reissue it.

From that vid, I don't think there is any difference with the previous releases. I have the V1 and V2 releases and the only difference was the cleaner glue application inside the cockpit.

I hope people new to this figure will keep their expectations in check since this is based off the original mold which almost 15 years at this point. The cockpit is nowhere near as detailed as you'd think and the plastic feels cheap and fragile. Thankfully it looks nice on display and the paint job is decent.

Like I said above, the wheels and tires on the back at the very least are corrected.

How did they get him to sit inside? None of the reviews of the DX19 made it look like he was flexible enough for that.

Reviewers are a bunch o’ ******* 😂

I sold mine and every single 1/6 figure back in the day because I was broke and I was not mature enough to realize that my collection habits had gotten the best of me. I was making $15 an hour and spending $17 on these ******* things. Getting 2 of each, getting marvel figures even, just everything that would come out that meant **** to me. It sucks being broke. These things were never displayed anyway, put away in boxes so that I would "someday" display them when I buy a house and stop living in a 1br apt. Yeah, that was never going to happen.

I had almost 15K-20K worth of BOXES, sitting in a gd closet. Disgusting really. It sucks being broke.

It is so much different now. So much. It took a long time but it is finally cool to know that I can finally afford these things, but the whole trick was always prioritizing stuff. I only buy Batman stuff, screw everything else. Sure, if they were to reissue some Terminator/Robocop stuff I'll make it happen. But other than that, screw other lines.

Can't wait for this. I can only hope the 1989 Batmobile sees a reissue someday. I can't even imagine what the shipping rate will be for that thing nowadays.

Man, your story is very touching.
You explain with a lot of wisdom the trap that waits everyone in this hobby.
Yeah, focus on prioritizing is the key.
Thanks for have shared with us.
