Everyone said that about the DX11 and here we are, this won't last a life time, nothing does, and the industry is rapidly evolving to the point this Joker might get outclassed by Queen themselves or someone else in a few years, as for value I really don't care about it, I still have some pretty poor Sideshow figures just because of what they mean to me, I collect and make figures with my heart, of characters that are near and dear to me, this is one of them, but I can't drop $1000 on it like this and then try to resell the jail dio and extra joker on what would likely be a loss in the local market where I'm at, had they made a standard rooted version I would've already put in a PO.

John completely danced around the question of not doing reissues and more or less said "as long as we change or add something we don't see it as a reissue," citing the new versions of their Thanos and Loki busts. The only time a figure even comes close to being a once in a lifetime never to be outclassed collectible is if it's a really obscure IP that nobody is really asking for again. Definitely not with a character like Ledger Joker.

Well.... how was your dinner?

Sucked, all I thought about was this stupid doll.

Glad to hear about the easter egg.

I had to catch up on alot of pages... you guys are crazy!

Anyway, somehow I circumvented the SELL-OUT and managed to get the last piece!!!!

Premium is all mine!!!! WAIT!? Premium? What!!!?

I've been holding off on Hot Toys just because mine usually stays in a museum pose due to fear of material wear for extended periods of time. But with this, there's nothing to worry about, it's just fabric with no prints on them. Probably super posable.

Exactly, what's the gurantee they won't have a limited rooted standard Joker with a shotgun or something else later down the line and call it a reissue, John already said they love doing Joker the most, they're doing a business move here by capitalizing on the hype, would everyone have paid $1000 if this was Hot Toys given their recent track record? Probably not, Queen is the new darling of collectors and they're well aware of the fact, everyone on those streams were showering them with praise and I saw John trying tampering their expectations, I hope all this hype doesn't blow up in their faces, he didn't even outright want to say they WILL have to delay the rooted versions just that should it happen it's because they're making sure everything is perfect, I'd rather miss out on a $1000 double pack get the standard and then maybe later on get a single rooted Ledger if or when they make it.

So what's the skinny on the easter egg (special gift)? Is it really just for the orders placed in the initial 24 hours?

Are we placing bets? Shotgun? Pencil? Broken pool cue? A can of gas-o-leeeen! Shrimp?
