Got him last night. As others have said, really terrific figure. Quality rivals Hot Toys. Very stiff joints which is good. I used blu tac to hold the head in place. Really odd oversight. And the wrist pegs are also challenging to deal with. But minor quibbles. I need to spend more time futzing the jacket, pose, and scarf, but very very happy with him.
I put a half a mug of water in the microwave for about a minute, popped my masked sculpt in the hot water for 15 seconds and it installed on the neck peg like butter.

I noticed the unmasked sculpts neck plug has a wider opening than the 3 masked scultps, so I just swapped the plug with the masked sculpt I wanted to use. Easiest swap, barely any glue holding them in place. Doing this allows the masked heads to sit a little lower without a chance of the masked head getting stuck on if I want to swap again. As others have said, love this figure.

I find it a shame to not be using the unmasked head since it's so well done....but the masked heads look so awesome.

Releases like this make me think about being way more selective with Hot Toys releases.

Yeah, the unmasked head is done quite well. Paintwork is fantastic. But like Batman, Rorschach is Rorschach when his mask is on. Kovacs is just a facade to let him get around without being noticed. Plus, it reminds me of the Snyder film whenever I see it. And. . .I'm still upset that Paul Greengrass didn't make the movie instead :lol

Hurm. . .I'll give that a try :D Thanks.
Yeah, that little plug in the head gets really soft and then once you install it and let it stay on there for a day it stays that shape so you can remove it without any problem. Do that to all the sculpts and you’ll be able to swap them out just fine.
It looks like SooSoo did something similar with the unmasked sculpt because that neck plug hole looks exactly like the masked hole does after I softened it and installed on the body.

Sorry to post again and again.
I tried adjusting the neck length. I think it’s ok.:)

I had a shorter neck peg in my spares box, so it's just on their with some blutac, I'm happy with it. Looks really good. I'm pretty impressed by it actually.

AND THANK BABY JESUS THE COAT ISN'T PLEATHER SHT THAT WILL DISINTEGRATE AFTER 6 MONTHS!

GG Soosoo.

In other news Giantoy has informed me that Soosoo is going to send me a new box to replace the damaged one. That's pretty darn cool. Very pleased! Great customer service both from Giantoy and Soosoo.

Great photos everyone!

I've received mine recently, and I opened him up to take a quick look and wow, color me impressed, it looks like a dashing figure. The coat and tailoring look very good, the head sculpts are nicely done and the accessories are more than supple. It's so cool to have three masked heads, they're just fantastic and the JEH is great, great likeness and the sculpt/paint is quite up to par.

What is the validity to the reissue listing for this fig on Comic Sanctorum? I can't find any other sites with him or with that offer.

I was thinking of trying to put together a prison version, love the scene of Kovacs in the cafeteria.

Yeah the Kovacs head sculpt is good, and with four head sculpts in total it's a great addition. I'm also thinking of kitbashing a prison figure to recreate the cafeteria scene :lol

This is original body. Bit muscular, especially upper body.
I think it’s GangHood 2.0 body.

I’ll replace another slim body.

Good to know!

I was thinking the Ganghood Bruce Lee body would match Jackie Earle Haley well.

The prison uniform I'm not sure. I think it's a smaller body so alot of normal clothes would be oversized on it.

I think that body is appropriate for Rorschach in the film, he looked in great shape.

Yeah, I'll be treating this as a comic Rorschach. And similarly, the scarf needs to be re-folded.

Definitely! Not only is it a nice representation of the film, but it can be looked as a straight-on comic figure too!

I replaced body with new one. Modded neck parts but slightly long. There is still room for improvement.:(

Looks fantastic! May I ask what body you used for the replacement?
